Why do some people hit RECON in fewer loops?

I did that for months and saw progress, but after a while things slowed down and everything became more difficult- when I started incorporated breaks days my results got both better, more stable, and I felt generally much better throughout the week.

Not wanting to take breaks was about fear/anxiety for me- since the hardest recon can come for some when they take time off- because that’s when input stops and the script starts to fully execute.

So one day is a reasonable break day then

I’m going to chime in, even though I’m not an Arch Alchemist.

We are all different. I had my best results (maybe?) when I run Qv1 subs on set and forget. No recon. And honestly, I don’t think I was stonewalling either.

Now I’m testing the same thing with Alchemist St1 Qv2. We’ll see.

Might be different sensitivity, or maybe the sub aligns well with your mindset/ experiences. Who knows.

Try it with just 1 day breaks. See what happens. Then adjust.

2 may be also. Depends. We recommend an occasional “Washout” of a week or so too.

The official recommendation is 2 rest days in a week. I would advice to follow it because such instructions are put there for good reason.

Regarding this whole topic, check out the other thread which had a similar discussion: Is it harmful to listen to too much subliminals?

Every fourth day is a break day for me. I sometimes take 2 days, but I don´t think it´s needed.

@Prome, reconciliation occurs whenever external reality is incongruent with the subconscious believes we are engraining.

Overprocessing on the other hand is a very different experience – I’ve barely undergone any of it over the past couple of months as I was mostly experimenting with extremely dense Customs which caused me to do fewer loops.

I had a lot of reconciliation, but in the end, it did not seem as if I was stonewalling or overexposing – rather, and especially with the new Qv2 technology, I was having a lot of headaches which is unusual for me.

A form of resistance – not from overexposure but from brute-forcing a reality which is too far out of my current belief system; it is possible, however.

Hence, why Khan is a multi-stage, to climb the stairs step by step, instead of taking four at a time and falling down.

I’d say following the exact official instructions is the reasonable move, so 2 days off total a week divided as you see fit. Most people do two days in a row, but I believe as long as it’s two days it would qualify.

If you want to experiment to see what works best for you in the short/long term power to you.

I’d say establishing a baseline of 5 days on and two days off total a week before experimenting, given the extreme specificity of the official position, after much testing with many people of these instructions, I would qualify as the reasonable place to start.

Rest days are important for the subliminals to work. This has been mentioned. I’ve also mentioned taking more rest days than recommended. I’ve been mentioning taking more break days to people for weeks.

Who is going to take the hint?

Your evangelizing about the value of rest days, has not gone on ears the hear but don’t listen, I for one
have taken on intuitively adding more rest days, and I see others that have as well.

Even Jesus took three days off lol

I can comment on this being I’m one of those individuals who continually screws this up.

There’s a certain mentality that needs to be broken and I don’t believe it’s a conscious thing. It makes sense to take rest days, more time to process, less energy being drained, better results due to a mind that isn’t fatigued. I just don’t think people are used to it yet. It can feel like you’re not putting in the work or pushing hard enough.

But I can say I wish more people would advocate for it. It’s very important and needs to be normalized. People shouldn’t be worried or afraid that more rest will decrease results. It’s just one of those things you have to experience for yourself to really understand it

Do you think it matters if rest days are consecutive or can we throw in a single day in between?

I’m thinking of a 2 days on, 1 day off, 2 days on, 2 days off split a week.

Just curious if there’s any info about that.

Not me. Actually I’ve been taking rest days even with preQ subs. With those it wasn’t planned. Still did take a weekend off every now and then.

Now I’m overloading on purpose for a few days. Thinking about 3 days, then an extended rest. At least 4 days. Maybe more.

Recon is a tricky beast. For example. I ran my old stack (HoMx2. StarkTx1, AuraQx1 and CommanderUx2) for two days and I felt like a demigod yet, on the third day I hit the worst recon ever that manifested as social anxiety. I experienced that pattern a couple of times and now sometimes I can predict it and take a day or two off to prevent it from happening or just keep going, experience it, let it be, embrace it and forget about it. Like now, I’m experiencing a slight recon on Emperor and Alchemist (3 loops/night each) on my second day on but I’ll be running it tonight despite of that and then I’ll be taking a day off (or maybe two depending on how it goes tomorrow).

Try it. I’ve found it helpful.

When Q+ is released, there will be new guidelines so unbelievable that people might be humbled by the technology if they decide to justify violating them by telling themselves things such as “each person is different” or “I’m just experimenting”.

@Hoppa TBH I’m not that worried about you right now. However I encourage you to be open minded about the new recommendations when Q+ comes out.

I’ll feel something like that. Usually just worried and feeling a bit weak. Like my vibe is off.

That’s the very feeling bordering on a strange vulnerability.

I’ve found that more sleep helps you decrease the risk of getting recon and if you are experiencing it, t’s lesser.

QV2 already humbled me.
Even one loop a day seems to be too much for me.
As soon as I add rest days, results flow in like crazy.

Can only imagine how powerful Q+ will be!
