Which earphones or earbuds do you use?

I’m using Tin T2’s. Hopefully this is good enough even with Ultimas

  2. Earphone type: In-ear
  3. Impedance: 16Ω
  4. Earphone sensitivity: 102dB/mW

Beats Flex as of Xmas time.

I can finally listen to ultras and ultimas without stealing the wife’s headphones

I just purchased the Sennheiser HD 400s last night from Amazon, I’m waiting for it to arrive. In the meantime…

@Simon you seem to know something about audio specs.

  • Impedance

18 Ω

  • Frequency response (Microphone)

100 – 10,000 Hz (-10 dB)

  • Frequency response (Headphones)

18–20,000 Hz (-10 dB)

In your experience, will these work well for Ultima and basic subliminal use? I JUST saw that it says something about extended bass response on the selling page -facepalm-

Being Sennheiser, I should think it will work well anyway.

I have the Tin T2’s and like them.

My biggest issue is finding a decent pair of bluetooth IEMs to use with my phone, as I can no longer use an adapter and wired phones with it.

With my computer I use Sennheiser HD-580s. With my Ipod Classic I have used either the Tins or lately a pair of Alpha & Delta D6 IEMs.

Good stuff. Have you tried the KZ bluetooth cable? I think they also have an mmcx variant. Otherwise I’m also using the Tronsmart apollo bold

So what are good budget earbuds, headphones and Bluetooth speakers for subs if I may ask y’all?

I started with chinese hi-fi IEMs. I find them very good and affordable. Tin T2’s, KZ ZS10 Pro, KZ ZSX and Moondrop starfields.

For bluetooth I use tronsmart apollo bold and onyx ace.

When I’m on my PC I use DT 770 pro and HD 280 pro (phone too but with a usb-c dac if I’m moving around the house)

AirPods Pro. Great stuff.

Naah. I don’t know jack about audio.
I just listen to @SaintSovereign and @DarkPhilosopher for it.

And from what I remember, these two factors were most important:

  • Flat Response (as close to No Bass as you can get), and
  • Frequency Range (as wide as you can get, but 20-20kHz is sufficient).

:hugs:
