What is an Empire?

The word “empire” has often been used in this forum, especially in the context of Emperor.

However, I believe different people define that word in different ways and it shapes their approaches towards their empire-building goals.

Like today, I heard of the word " spiritual empire" being used. Perhaps there are others who want to build a sexual empire, financial empire, real estate empire, etc.

Would like to ask, what does an empire mean to you?

To me Empire refers to:

  • The things I create
  • The money I make
  • The people who respect me
  • The places and things I own
  • The value I give
  • The legacy I leave
