"What happened to my support ticket?"

#24987 6 days, it said it was in progress for like 3 days @RVconsultant

It’s supposed to show ‘Processing’ until you get the product. And then it will show ‘Completed’.

@RVconsultant, @Lion can you walk me through the process of creating a custom? When we are on the screen showing thumbnails with all the modules, and complete checkout is this the entire process?

Looking at the steps I’m pretty sure I checked out which is step 3. And got an email to that effect saying my order was complete. However looking at the process again on build options I’m seeing something asking for my first name which I don’t recall seeing before and there is a massive dropdown menu listing what seems like all store modules which I don’t remember going through.

Also previously I thought the minimum for customs was 5 modules, however on this page it says 10. What’s the purpose of this huge dropdown menu? Also, how many times in the process of creating a customs do we actually need to check out?

From my experience in the forum Fire, SaintSovereign and everyone else has always been super responsive. For there to be such a huge delay in for both the download link and support tickets seems unusual and makes me think there is a disconnect somewhere and it could be on my side. So, am I the problem?

I kept threatening to create a custom before however this is the first time I actually pulled the trigger, if I’m missing something please let me know.

Ah ok. Now I understand why you didn’t get your custom. You only purchased the modules and haven’t build your custom yet.

You use the modules to make the custom. And you can reuse the modules you have purchased to make different customs.

Your order for your modules is complete but not for building the custom.

This is actually here you build your custom.

Officially it is 10 modules now. If you want to create a custom with less than 10 modules, you will have to put in a support ticket and make sure if that can be made. But to be on the safe side, I always recommend making a 10 module custom. You don’t have to be unsure whether or not the build with go through if you have less than 10 modules.

To choose the Cores and modules for your custom.

If it is your first time creating a custom, you will be checking out 2 times. The first time to purchase the modules (and Cores) you need for your custom. Second time to build the custom.

Hope this sheds some light on the matter.

@Lion So modules are purchased once and just plugged into different builds. So a user is always paying for the build but not necessarily the modules unless they weren’t previously licensed.

Think I understand now - thank you for walking me through that.
