What did support mean by this?

So i asked support if theres a way i can replace a module in my custom (Job Seeker > Synergy aps: head/face) and this is how they responded:

Thank you for reaching out! If you’d like to replace a module in your custom, we offer a $50 rebuild option that can help situations like this. This allows us to make adjustments to your existing custom without the need to create a completely new one from scratch.

Simply purchase the new module (Synergy APS: Head/Face, in this case) for $15, if it isn’t already licensed to your account and submit your order here Discounted ZP Rebuild and include the module you’d like replaced (Job Seeker with Synergy APS: Head/Face).

Once processed, you’ll receive the updated custom with your desired changes. If you have any other questions, please feel free to let us know! We’re always happy to help!

But where do i include what module id like replaced and where would i write it? I didnt know this was possible

They probably mean it like this;

  • Buy the module you want to replace - or don’t if you already have it.
  • Rebuild your custom with “Discounted ZP Rebuilds” page.
  • After the Rebuild message them Your order number from that exact ticket they reply you (message you quoted above) along with module/modules you want replaced.

That confuses me. The $50 rebuild doesn’t allow for changing modules. AFAIK, you’d build a new custom with the changes you want and it’d be the minimum $99 build fee for the new one.

If they actually mean that they could make adjustments on pre-built customs, then that would be most wonderful. I think the instructions are as Shiva had clarified.

I could add the most needed New Fame Experience to my UA UW RM custom. Please do keep us updated.

Support are mistaken. It happens.

Discount rebuilds are for upgrading an older custom to the latest tech, and no module changes are permitted. It says so right on the build page:

You may use this form to upgrade any past Qv2 or Ultima custom into Zero Point format. No changes to the modules can be made. You may upgrade the power level, mask and the sound quality.

There’s also the official thread Main Disc. Thread - Discounted Custom Rebuilds / Upgrades to ZPv2

If you want to change modules you’ll need to buy a new custom.

I would like to know if discounted custom rebuild can be used after some cores or modules are updated. @AnswerGroup

That is quite common.
Since there are no Qv2 subs out there anymore, it’s mostly used for tech updates.
I plan to update my custom once Ascension got an update .

So is it possible or not ? i think it might have been a mistake by the support team.To add one module for an extra 50 dollars ? rather then rebuild ?

I hope they answer this soon,i opened a support ticket asking what they meant (#27365) but they havn’t responded in a over week.

Need to know so i can decide whether or not to make a new custom for 99$ or rebuild for 50$.
