Before CGI and all these computer aided special effects came along we had tv shows like the six million man (showing my age now LOL).
Despite their being rumours of a remake. Did anyone of you geezers remember watching the tv show back in the day ?

It’s funny to me how in the Six Million Dollar Man, they used slow motion to show how fast he was supposedly running.
Didn’t get to watch that. Grew up watching a movie character who was worth 60 million dollars though.
The slow motion effects is what made the six million dollar man so iconic. In fact when he began running in slow motion the audience accepted the fact that he was running so fast they had to slow it down on camera.
The special effects were so primitive back in the 80s if they had speeded it up when he was running everything else in the background would speed up so it would look really strange.
Love the old cathode ray tubes used in the old box TVs Fond memories up until early 2000.
I remember this old TV my parents had when I was a kid. the CRT would keep glowing for minutes after being turned off. Kinda scary to a kid.
PLUS, their TV had a remote control which all it really did was turn on a motor inside the TV to turn the actual channel knob
There’s a thread about Betty White.
I think I am old enough to have caught The Golden Girls on TV too, though can’t remember anything about the show.
I do remember watching Knight Rider, Street Hawk and Blue Thunder on TV as a kid in the 1980s…as well as The Wheel of Fortune…
Knight Rider was one of my favourite shows every kid in my school wanted KIT Just like every kid wanted to be the six million dollar man back then.
