Just looked enough at sales page, i already went though phase of trying to optimize daily life and all that … now i prefer spontaneity and flow of spirit
I don’t believe that procrastination is a valid concept.
(Don’t look at the most recent post on my journal.)
What’s more likely is that you’re attempting to apply yourself to a duty, obligation, or commitment, while ignoring (to some extent) what genuinely inspires, energizes, and motivates your heart and your nature.
I think that’s actually okay. There are times for sticking to duty.
At the same time though, acknowledge that doing so is a choice. You have chosen to be stalwart, consistent, and to live by your commitments. And don’t be mystified, compelled, or baffled by the “procrastination” that often follows. It is the inevitable result of neglecting the things that speak to your heart, that frighten and stimulate you; that compel you. The price of stability is some sacrifice of motivation. Within reasonable bounds, it’s a worthwhile bargain.
And people with strong Earth orientation find it easier to make this choice and to stick to this bargain.
Whenever you’re ready, however…Fire is waiting.
The internal engine of Intrinsic Motivation. Fire is ignited by pursuing proximity to the conditions that speak to your nature. This is not the stable, controlled commitment of Earth. It is not chosen and deliberately agreed upon. Our natural Fires choose us. Here we give up control to some extent, and allow ourselves to be DRIVEN.
We relinquish Control, but we gain POWER.
People who align themselves with their internal fires do not procrastinate, but they may have to struggle with impulsiveness and its cousin–Regret.
They’re not as good at steadily and dependably honoring long-term obligations and commitments. That’s what they need to work on.
How has this practically manifested in your life? Like what goals or achievements did it help you hit ?
I’m taking a look at notion now. I’ve failed with to do lists, pomodoro, bullet journals, planners, etc. With systems like this it’s important that management of it doesn’t turn into a project itself. It seems promising but.
This is all aspects of executive functioning which I tend to be incredibly deficient in. So I’m interested to know how utilizing notion has helped.
Thx as always for sharing. I do believe that what you are sharing can make everyone more effective and enhance and create capacity for creativity. I’ll be damned if I can’t figure out what you mean by IMF methods. Did a bunch of searches and regrettably am getting hits mostly for the International Monetary Fund or something like that. Can you possibly share a little more specificity on this one?
Index, Map of Content, Frameworks… It’s based on a concept called evergreen notes… Where the index houses all the map of contents and map of content houses frameworks and so on… Until it gets very specific. Think wiki pedia type of structure…
Problem for alot of ppl is when they take notes on a book they have to go back to the book notes and read it all over to get the gold nuggets… If u just create a new note on that gold nugget and relate it to a Framework for ex. Bam. It doesn’t escape.
When u combine it with note software like Obsidian that allows u to visualize all connections between notes that’s when it clicks…
And like I said… The goal is not productivity. The goal is learning more effectively and capitalizing on our God given ability to create. When u can just take notes and know that it will help u in the future instantly when u need it… That’s when your ability to learn has reached the peak
I’m only learning 4 things. Business Strategy, Marketing, Sales and Marketing Agency specifics…
I’m constantly learning new things and visiting and referencing my notes on topics and subtopics
And they’re extremely relevant to me so I do it naturally.
But yes that’s why I created the system… It’s automated… So the problem of having to search and move notes around is completely eliminated.
Whenever u update something it records a log, moves it to it’s appropriate location based on query…
I just take notes, add relevant tags, bam it’ll show up later when I’m working on a project related to that subtopic
I have the Jim Kwik . I am so fascinated by anything that improves memory , learning, and increases cognitive abilities.
Another book is Moonwalking With Einstein
I work most effectively, when I don’t seem to work at all. My mind is racing all the time to find solutions, to plan, to build up the vision of what and how I get there.
Playing a game allows me to interrupt the constant stream of thoughts. It pushes the project I’m working on “below the surface”. Kind of like when you sleep, next morning something just clicks and you get a new outside of box idea.
It’s a way for me to break out from the circling thoughts.
And as I said in an earlier post in some other forgotten topic, I’m a dreamer. Not a doer. I just tell other people what they should do so that I can achieve my goals
Edit: I should add that after I started with SubClub products I finally got the resources that allow me to fully utilize my gifts. Getting to this point was a real struggle.
be careful with their patreon they didnt built in protections with this stuff ,few months back many members reported misfortune , someone who knows what they are doing can tap into their egregore and spread undesirable effects
Workers of the future will focus on creating insights, ideas and impact. Kind of like a CEO gets rewarded and compensated on decisions and insights and results.
Sales and Soft Skill jobs will always be there.
Trades will always be there until the development of technology that replaces it.
If you’re an accountant or a middle man your job will get replaced.
But interestingly enough AI is an incredible tool for learning. For ex. I use it to summarize research papers that I’m considering to learn and to take out frameworks in short amount of time. This helps me because I can rapidly change and make adjustments to issues. And if I wanted to get more details or context or understanding, I’d go into the article itself and extract those tiny details.
That’s my 2 cents. But yeah I think it’s literally almost impossible for you to not be financially successful if you leverage tools like AI, and Systems for workflow.
That’s exactly me. Lmao I’m a high level systems thinker. I’m the General Manager/Coach. I’m Pat Riley. Putting together a stacked Team, providing mentorship and direction and win 10 rings.
I’m not Shaq lmao. I’m a decent player. But Hall of Fame level Executive
