The year of the restart: New Ascension name embedded

Good morning @COWolfe.

I’m on St.1 myself, and you forgetting loops caught my attention.

St.1 has a feature of eliminating self sabotage. I realized this a few days in, as suddenly I found myself internally fighting those positive changes from the subliminal.

It didn’t last more than 2 days. But it was very evident. It’s just quiet now.

Thought I’d chime in. You’re not alone.

I did see you’ve made improvements. The sub is working on you. Keep it up :+1:

I don’t think it was self sabotage. I’ve had this problem since they put out the newest tech.
On previous builds, I was always very cognizant of being on the sub and what it was supposed to be doing.
On these new ones, I don’t think about it much so I sometimes forget. It’s so far in the background that I don’t even notice.

You made me think. I’ve made a few customs using the experimental anti-recon, and yes, it’s wayyyy smoother, where old (habitual) fears don’t alert me constantly, keeping me focused on the subliminal.

I just began my Phoenix/LB custom days back, and I’ve been very cognizant of its effects.

But the newer customs with anti-recon scripting weren’t on my mind a lot while running them. I’ve considered rebuilding my Phoenix/LB custom to incorporate that and the adaptive scripting, but now I’m wondering if it’d be best. No major recon has hit. I’ve had tears, and even yesterday I was remembering stuff I’ve not thought of since childhood. It was nothing that scared me profusely. I just hadn’t thought of that in many, many years. I felt like I was in my body more, like I’ve felt more at home.

Additionally, the emotional intelligence has been kicking in, which feels incredible since I’m more comfortable with people.

So, I’ll hold off on changing my build at this time. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. It helped me consider my own.

Edit: Just minutes after I posted that last paragraph, I checked my thinking. Like Phoenix is opening me to see and imagine changes or challenges I’ve avoided (the fear of the unknown). So…rebuilding my custom is still a consideration. Allowing old fears to reign is definitely not an absolute at this time.

What if the “forgetting to run loops” is a feature and not a bug?

If you look at the transparency report section at the start of any copy that was updated since as far back as Genesis, you’ll see that there’s scripting to encourage self care.

This could also be a way for the subconscious to regulate what it needs.

What if it’s recon or self-sabotage?

If this were the case, the sub experience won’t feel “smooth” or “natural”. If you look closely, you will see that there’s always some level of avoidance.

It could express itself in extremely simple and subtle ways

  • Stack switching (I know this seems obvious, but trust me on this one😂)
  • Not wanting to engage certain thoughts
  • Not following up with activities that give you clarity.

Beware that most of these often become clearer in hindsight

Finally, there’s a simple test.

  • If you don’t feel like running the sub
  • Your goal yet to be accomplished
  • You cannot give an extremely credible reason that makes sense to you in two weeks.

Congrats, you’ve spotted signs of recon🙂

It’s none of these things. It’s quite simply that I’m not thinking about the sub as much as I was on previous builds. So that when it comes time to run it, I just forget.
Before this version there was always a “visible” portion running in the back of my mind. Not a bad thing, I was just aware of it. The new ones are so transparent that I don’t think about the sub unless I’m running it.

In that case, the solution’s even easier.

Just set repeating alarms for when you want to run them. Then play with your snooze times to give room for when you can’t get to them immediately.

Or simply run them whenever you remember.

I find that the subs keep helping for as much as 30 days on average. So moderate consistency and integration take precedence over intervals between listening.

So based on what you’re saying, the issue is not directly that you’re “forgetting to use the sub”

The actual issue is that you’re not feeling the new tech activate?

Right. It is clearly working, but there used to be a feel to it that is no longer present.
That’s a good thing in a way, but means that I don’t think about the subs I’m on like I used to.
