Hello guys, I have been into self-improvement for years now. I turned 22 this August. Life has been chaotic hell, even… and it comes with many lessons and teachings to uncover. I am grateful for who I am today.
Today, I want to share a significant tool that’s in line with the Zero Point nature. We keep hearing the term conscious guidance, right? Many have partially figured out what it means to consciously guide the subconscious, while many are still left with confusion and false assumptions.
A lot of members are deeply into the Law of Assumption or belief, like I was, and have been programmed to think that the only way to consciously guide a subliminal is through affirmations and visualization.
Today, I will share the Socratic method of self-improvement, which I’m sure many of you are aware of. We generally water down the importance of asking the right questions to ourselves. Socrates had a great mind he was a great philosopher and he gifted one of the best tools for self-improvement to all of humanity. I come from a Hindu background and follow rituals and sadhanas related to mantras, which genuinely help, but I still cannot thank Socrates enough for this wonderful gift.
Socrates, throughout his life, asked many questions—both to himself and to the people around him. Asking the right questions makes you think differently, and when you think differently, you take different actions, which lead to different outcomes.
Method:
Suppose you are listening to a subliminal like Limitless or Emperor. Despite the gigantic list of benefits the product offers, our eyes often get stuck on certain objectives that reflect our current life situation. Fulfilling these objectives can feel like finding a missing piece of the puzzle.
Step 1: Define clearly which objective you want the most from the subliminal. Have a crystal-clear goal.
Step 2: Take a diary or journal and write it down. Ask yourself the right questions.
Step 3: Ask: What actions or mental attributes can I develop to reach this objective?
Step 4: Identify where you are getting stuck. Suppose your mind says to do XYZ, but you feel afraid to take the steps—ask yourself, Why am I afraid or fearful? Keep questioning to get to the root. It will take time, and your answers will evolve as you grow. Spend at least 20–30 minutes on this every day.
Example:
If you don’t know which objective to take from the list:
- Ask yourself: Which objective from the subliminal will currently help me move toward the goal I desire?
- Suppose your mind answers with the objective: XXX.
- Now ask: Why do I want this objective so much?
- Answer: Think deeply. Don’t just fill the diary come up with an answer that has real value.
- If your answer is: I want this because it will fasten my progress, question again until you clarify or have a clear understanding of why you truly want this objective.
Clear Example:
- Goal: I want to go to my home, research this XYZ company, and invest in it.
-
Question: What is stopping me from doing this? Is it fear?
- Keep uncovering—it will bring clarity.
- Ask again: If it’s not fear, what is it? Laziness? Lethargy?
- If yes, ask: What can I do to overcome it? How can I do it?
- Keep thinking—the answer will come to you. Within a few days, you will notice your subconscious finding ways to express the specific part of the script to align with your objective.
This method both involves the conscious and subconscious mind and even if you affirm to some ideas you want it to be true then it’s a perfect exercise for you. You just need to direct the questions in such a way that the answer is the affirmation you desire to imprint on the subconscious self
Here are some examples of the questions which i generally ask myself and meditate on these.
How can I make coding and programming interesting and content for me ? Can I make coding and programming satisfying for me? If yes then how can i make it ?( i used this question to slowly develop interests towards programming concepts)
What is stopping me to change this habit of mine? why am i so attached to it ? what can i do overcome this endless hurdle ?
there are more but you get the gist
The answer might not always be instant but it makes your unconscious to engage in these questions and asking these questions repeatedly, your subconscious will flow your conscious self with ideas and these ideas will become concrete and hence helping you to change your action as a result of the whole process
I know I am not completely clear, but you have to try this, guys. It’s a better method of reprogramming than mindless affirmations which work as well but not as effectively, I guess. (your views on this @SaintSovereign )
