Britney Spears (All-Star Tribute) - What’s Going On HQ - YouTube
King’s Disease 2? I mainly listened to the 2 joints that I posted up above. Briefly skimmed the rest and I basically like it.
But that Nobody? That satisfies my musicality. Nas is a master craftsman and artisan at the top of his game. It’s always going to be good.
Don’t expect anything less from the GOAT.
Got a chance to finally skim the album, favorite song from the album so far:
Are you in your twenties?
Yes; I assume you’re asking that because I picked the only song on the album with a trap beat, but trap beats are primarily what I listen to nowadays (I listen to drill mostly).
With that said, I did grow up on the classic stuff so I’ve definitely listened to my fair share of peak Nas (Illmatic and It Was Written).
Does anyone know the name of that white backpack/conscious rapper from the early-mid 2000s that died (he may have killed himself)? I’ve been trying to look him up everywhere but haven’t been able to find him, it’s been driving me insane. I forgot the name of this one song of his that I really want to listen to, any help would be appreciated.
You don’t mean Mac Miller, do you?
Not sure if he was considered conscious.
He was really dope. But he died only 3 years ago, so, not sure if that’s who you’re remembering.
No absolutely not, it’s a conscious rapper who passed away between 2004-2007. He had longish black hair, it’s driving me crazy trying to remember his name. It was one word that started with a letter between D and L I believe.
Cheb Mami.
That song is dope.
Yessir, funny enough I was reminded of it because our convo in this thread put me in a Nas mood again. I was listening to The Message and forgot where the sample was from, so I looked it up and now here we are lol
Didn’t know what audio immersion was. I do now.
Not a big fan of “3D Audio” to be honest, it’s just people abusing reverb on any random song.
What I am a fan of, however, is music pitched down to 432hz (from 440); THAT equals audio immersion in my opinion.
Combine that with a lossless audio format like FLAC and you’ve got the best sound you can listen to.
