The chronicles of Invictus and ZP

hmmmmm, and what do you think about the self reflection part of today?

It’s really annoying when you perform well in a game, but lose regardless. Reality is, that there are some unwinnable games.
I personally mute all to focus more on my own gameplay.
This video covers the topic. Highly recommend the channel! Good luck in your soloq journey and for season 12. :muscle:

The thing is, it almost felt like every game I played was unwinnable, however, I realized something, I was playing at night time (my time) and during that time, many kids are online and playing, those are usually the ones that ruin it.

Plus after the release of Arcane, many new players have joined and have this issue of wanting to do everything by themselves, like this one dude was playing Jinx and asked what items to build to make her as OP as she was in the show
Like what the hell bruh

Arcane influenced the play rates a lot haha. It’s trickier now that my main gets picked/banned more often now compared to before.

Lmao people be like jinx triple kill in arcane, but triple feed in game. :joy:

Furthermore pre-season is usually more chaotic. However, it’s possible to climb. I giga grinded at the end of last season - a very difficult period to get elo, as so many people are getting boosted, mentally boom etc.

That’s my stack now! If you go that way, we can compare notes.

On today’s episode of The Chronicles of Invictus and ZP:

woke up at 10 am and decided that it would be the best time to do today’s loop of Chosen (i run chosen alone as the 3rd ZP track), it went well as I instantly felt the euphoria and the high energy I always get from it.

Afterward, I went to shower and get ready as my interview was at 1 pm, and I wanted to look as good and presentable as possible. So once I was done, I was first amazed at how I looked, especially how my eyes looked so mesmerizing, I felt like I was getting entranced by my own eyes  :joy:, but I was on a tight schedule, so I told myself “I’ll dive deep in those eyes later Mr. Handsome, but now we gotta go”, so I finish up and get ready, go to my car and get on the road.

I reached there in about 20 mins, and the time was like 12:25 (got there a bit earlier than expected), so I just casually started talking to the security guy there for a good 5 mins, before he gave me a visitor’s card and told me to go to the waiting room.
So I make my way to the elevator and this lady entered with me at the same time, telling me how I smelt really nice (had Sauvage on ), then asked what was I there for and I told her that I have an interview, after which she wished me luck and exited on her floor.
So the elevator stopped, the doors opened, and I enter an office, “why is it so empty” I thought to myself, but then realized I was on the wrong side of the floor where the VIPs usually have their meetings  , so I went to the other side and told someone that I’m here for an interview with the director, to which he told me that her office is empty and she didn’t come today (weird), but turns out that she’s still not feeling well.

The guy told me to take a seat and he’ll see if the woman’s department got a notice about me or anything, 2 mins later (12:35 pm) a guy came to me and called me by my name, and told me that he was the one who’s going to interview me, he wanted to talk to me as he was the one who actually picked me from all the candidates who applied apparently, so I make my way to his office and it starts…

the first thing he said was that it was going to be a short 15 mins interview, and then proceeded to ask me about why I want to join QOC (Qatar Olympic Committee), to which I started answering by telling him about my passion for sports and how I wanted to work at a place where I can join both my field of study (business management) and my passion together… his next question was straight up “how much do you squat and bench?”, surprised is an understatement as I never expected the dude to ask me that question, but HOLY FUCK did we talk, and it felt so effortless.
this guy never met me, yet we were talking like two old friends catching up, in fact he even ordered coffee and started telling me about his hobbies and how he recently started doing CrossFit and wants to compete one day, to which I told him about my dream, which is to compete as a bodybuilder before I hit 25, and something changed in him (I could tell) after I told him that, as we kept talking so much, that at point I was the one asking questions and he was answering me like an excited kid :joy:

the interview went far beyond 15 mins, and the way he started referring to me changed halfway through the interview, telling me about who I’d be working with, what he expects me to do, how he sees me as a potential candidate to replace him as the head of Business Affairs one day (yes, un-fucking-believable), and how he wanted a fresh graduate who’s not just charismatic and smart, but also has a good LEADER-type of personality, he even went as far as saying that he could FEEL that I’m a natural-born leader and that I have the exact qualities he wants to see in someone who can fill in his shoes in a FEW YEARS.

And it doesn’t stop there, we kept on talking about all the different things that the department would expect of me and everything, and then he asked me “which department in the Marketing & Communications section would you prefer to work in?” (Marketing, PR, or Business Affairs), and when I mentioned that I’m confident in my abilities to excel in any of them, especially in marketing (specifically Esports marketing when they become part of the Olympics), he straight up told me that he’s going to talk to the director so that she talks to me before I sign any contracts, as she LOVES Esports and playing games, with her favorite game being…wait for it… LEAGUE OF LEGENDS… I could not believe it, how the hell did I even manage to get here, however, I kept myself calm and talked to him more, then he told me that his offer is already on the table (for BA department), but he wants me to talk with the director as well, or else she might get annoyed that he took a candidate that she’d love to have on her PERSONAL team. After which he kinda politely apologized to me for taking up too much time, but that he loved talking to me and is looking forward to seeing me more often, then proceeded to escort me to the elevator and told me this “oh and by the way, one rule for you, we gotta work out together when you join”, again WHAT THE HELL, the dude didn’t know me at all and now wants me to be his gym partner .

the only thing I could think of at this point was “@SaintSovereign WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU PUT IN ZP?!”, because everything that happened felt like a scene out of a movie, everything seemed to go exactly in the best possible direction, exactly how I would have wanted it to go.

so now I wait for the director to talk to me as well, either in person if she felt better soon, or through a virtual meeting, then I decide which department.

I’m not going to mention anything about money as it’s the least of my concerns at the moment, however, the number he told me is WAY more than any fresh graduate would get anywhere in my country, but part of the reason is because QOC is both a governmental and international organizations, so it’s like double benefits for the National citizens (Qataris) who manage to land a job there.

TL;DR went to interview for a job, ended up with an offer and a recommendation to work right under the director

honestly @SaintSovereign and @Fire, you guys have no idea how much impact you’ve had on my life, it hasn’t even been a year for me here. From helping with my dissertation (emperor), helping me feel better about myself (WANTED), helping me with my issue with my girl (DIAMOND), and now transforming me into this person I am now that 2 departments are both interested in me (Chosen), a thank you honestly feels like it’s too little.

feels bad man, I’m on a 7-game loss streak :sob:

maybe I should give up GMX and add Spartan from tomorrow, as I’d rather focus on what’s already good in my life, rather than try so hard to chase something that is obviously giving me signs that it’s not going to help.

That ZP clarity in full effect once again, nudging you to hop on the Spartan train

Trust me bro, you will love what Spartan is able to do for your workouts

That’s what I’ve been thinking, let’s see what @SaintSovereign say, if he’s okay with me just switching it now, then I’ll start it with WANTED on Tuesday (next listening day).

Would love to hear your progress if you do switch over. We’ll have almost the same stack with using both Chosen and Spartan - becoming beast leaders of this world

How would you compare working out on Spartan, compared to WANTED

If I do add it, it will be both of the physical shifting subs together on one day, and chosen on the other.

The intensity of the workouts, the endurance I have, and the recovery is much better on Spartan. As well as that toughness to be willing to push yourself to the absolute limits and maximize your focus during workouts. The mental benefits are far superior as far as working out is concerned.

The advantage of WANTED certainly seems to be in it’s physical shifting tech, which seems to get more airtime compared to Spartan according to Saint
