long annoying post but may have some value to someone.. i mean well and peace, just extract what is useful and ignore the rest, godbless lol
I apologize if I offended anyone with my opinions. I don’t mean to start a flame war or anything.
I’m sometimes a little provocative on purpose with how I convey things because otherwise folks are too comfortable. I like to induce a little intensity and passion with certain concepts otherwise it’s not felt and doesn’t challenge or create self-questioning as much.
I do this in real life and it works but I understand that it’s not the best in every situation or appropriate for every type of individual. Fair enough.
Anyways, with PMO and flow factor, I’ll share a video game analogy that I personally subscribe to and maybe people will better understand what I’m trying to convey. I’m not trying to create a debate, all I’m saying is just think, extract and apply what’s useful (if there is anything) here into your own life that you think will improve your results, this is all nothing more than my opinion:
The point of growth and healing is to level up your internal framework.
Subliminals are like an xp booster of +1000 xp.
Yes, you will have recon and have to take action, work through stuff, journal, etc. But with those things, generally speaking… you should level up automatically and very fast compared to not using them.
This is why subliminals are the most powerful self-improvement tools on the entire planet. With 3 minutes of listening to water sounds, you get a +1000 xp boost in growth.
Here is what most people don’t understand.
Subliminals aren’t the only thing that influence your internal framework.
Imagine that at the end of every month, you have a total sum XP gain for that month.
It’s equivalent to the concept of caloric surplus and caloric deficit.
The reason why I’m always leveling up is because every month I’m in a very high xp surplus. You always want to be in an xp surplus.
A subliminal is like +1000 xp.
PMO is like -500 xp.
So your total xp for the month is +500 xp.
(These numbers are hypothetical, but I assure you that the minus of PMO is a lot larger than most people think. That’s my whole point with “demonizing PMO”, I’m merely giving some insight as to how it does this. Self-worth, self-image, self-love, personal power, etc. My point is… the act of PMOing is full of low self-worth, shame, guilt, addiction, etc. The whole wavelength is skewed. Imagine trying to heal, develop a powerful framework, become the best version of yourself, create momentum of a high wavelength and become congruent with it… but then debasing yourself by flooding the subconscious mind with toxicity. Math has to math, lol. Make it make sense.)
Think in terms of being seated in your power, honorable, high-esteemed, high self-worth, healthy emotions, healthy perceptions, healthy sexuality, self-love, tapped in - on all levels… is this PMO? If one wants that congruent framework and the experience that comes with it, then they will have to drop PMO period. They have to let it go and live their best life. It’s hindering their growth and hindering their progression to the best, most empowered, most beautiful version of themselves that they have to offer to this world. That guy is not PMOing, I promise you. Everyone knows this, lol.
Okay, let’s get away from PMO. Another thing that gives minus xp is watching false fear inducing news all day long and entering a negative state full of fear… which is what most definitely will happen if you watch screwed up news all day. I’ve literally seen people watch news about some murder that happened on the other side of the planet and then the next day they walked around as if in paranoia that someone is out to get them… when it’s just a beautiful day and they’re walking from their car to the building. They subconsciously were on edge because the entire day they binged and drowned their subconscious mind with the idea that “it’s a dangerous world and it’s dangerous out here”.
The reason why I’m on porn’s ass so heavily, is because it’s probably the highest damage in the form of subconsciously while also being the most normalized.
Based on what I’ve seen. I mean, for hundreds of thousands of people, 1 PMO is the deciding factor between them being a complete loser with no confidence versus having god-like confidence. That speaks volumes, upon volumes, upon volumes. Really think about that for second. The only thing that’s subjective is the degree of damage. My point is, if you’re serious about your life… you want to remove any form of potential damage period. You want to regularly have as high of an XP surplus as possible to have the fastest, consistent and most profound growth possible. To have the strongest momentum.
Do you see my approach? I’m not high flow factor or special, I’m just in a XP surplus. The way I play the game is to always be in upward trajectory. It’s impossible to not level up when you are.
It’s almost as if growth is nothing more than a consistent xp surplus. You take it day by day and it adds up over time, before you know it… everything is changed.
(maybe this is a terrible analogy, I don’t know, whatever…hahaha).
Alright, maybe those last 2 were a little inappropriate. LMAO.
Peace and love Luther, peace and love. Here is a lovely gif for the beautiful community.
100% dude, life’s better without porn and news in it, both are definitely negatives (-500xp ). I’ll be steering my own kids away from it the best I can.
I think some people can form extra factual beliefs in respect to nofap. The negative emotions of guilt, shame and remorse for ‘failing nofap’ via relapse could often be attributed to the act of PMO itself. Much like focusing too much on news, focusing too much on quitting PMO is probably not a good idea. I always viewed the nofap community as a bunch of alcoholics who meet at the bar to discuss how much they wanted to have drink that day
I didn’t have access to porn during my formative years, so perhaps my experience is different to later generations. Maybe there are super powers to be gained for those who started PMO young and decided to quit as adults.
Yeah, well said hahaha.
I apologize for taking you out of context and the “good luck” thing.
I don’t like talking about porn too much because I start getting into a negative state, lol. To me, porn is like garbage of the lowest caliber. It’s anti-health. Physically, mentally, sexually, spiritually, emotionally. I can’t help but approach it like that at all times, especially in relation to growth, healing or becoming a better person, etc. The normalization and the 9/10 men watching this crap, lol. The sexual partners I had and etc, and guys not having any self-worth. The goal posts, etc. Everything just combines in my mind and then I naturally default to being on 10 in terms of demonizing it with little to no respect or leniency. Even going so far as getting slightly dissonanced when the energy isn’t matched. Not in real life, as I don’t care about anything other people do. But in a place of growth, and especially where if I know it can improve rate of growth and therefore improve people’s results, improve Subliminal Club etc. That’s why I approached it in that manner, like trying to throw the goal-post and alert everyone “go here” while being defensive about anyone trying to bring it back which is what I blindly assumed you were doing (which you weren’t).
Anyways, I’m getting away from doing these things in general. Probably doesn’t even do anything, lol.
Yeah that’s alright man. It did annoy me slightly because I am actively quitting porn but we’re all on the same page now and I’m cool with it. It’s good you’re awake to all these things, most people are not. There’s a lot of negative energy around these days and it’s not an easy gig to maintain positivity.
I understand where you’re coming from, but ultimately it’s just addiction. The fight to stay away from porn doesn’t work if there’s pieces of an individual instinctually bringing them back to it to self soothe. Same goes for sweets, food binges, sex, drugs, tv. I think the more someone looks within themselves and corrects those unmet needs the addiction fades. I think as a society there’s too much emphasis placed on the addictive substance and not enough on the individual.
Lol, what even is this thread. All over the place, hahaha.
It’s not even a journal, lmao. What have I done.
I totally agree on that. I was a porn addict for 20 years. I was struggling all the time if I quit porn and ultimately came back to it.
The times I didn’t pmo, I just switched addictions. Watched TV shows, gaming or reading novels. Because deep down inside, there was this emptiness that yearned for fulfillment.
Only after healing this wound, step by step, I was able to cut it out of my life. It was a conscious process of 9 rough months. 9 months with a few relapses.
But as some mentioned before, it’s never good to focus to much on your streak, or a relapse can really kill your mood, your belief in yourself.
And it’s also really helpfull to have a “why?” in your life. I’ve seen how much it hurts my fiance, so I had a big reason to follow through on healing this wound for good.
