Subconscious Virtuoso - Stumbling into the Light đŸ”„

When in doubt use the K.I.S.S. method (Keep It Super Simple).

Less “moving parts” mean a more direct path to the outcome and easier troubleshooting.

Authenticity plus kindness is a cheat code.

It’s arrogant to think that that ONE move you make is all it’ll take.

If you’re worried about sounding “smart” or knowledgeable in front of others – always making the smartest comment, using genius words / metaphors, or crafting the most brilliant messages/emails/posts – you’re doing it to make an impression, to get approval.

If it comes from the heart spontaneously, that’s one thing, but it’s the trying to appear/sound smart or like you “know your stuff” to others that’s based on neediness.

In 2024, there are about 22 million millionaires in the U.S.

While the reports tout that 88% of millionaires are college graduates, they don’t promote the equally impressive other side of the coin
the lowly 12% of non-college graduate millionaires.

Oh hey, look at that, 12% of 22 million is 2.6 million people (in the U.S.)

Well, wuddaya know
2.6 million millionaires became that way by NOT graduating college
(wonder why they don’t talk more about that? hmmmm  )

Are they all special? Gifted? Trust fund babies?

Nope.

It’s inspiring to think about how POSSIBLE it is for anyone to achieve that level of financial abundance.

Because if those people can do it, so can you
if you choose.

You don’t gotta though. It’s not a prerequisite for living a good, fulfilling life. “Millionaire status” isn’t the end-all be-all. It’ll probably take a lot of focus and energy building up the skills that it takes to get there, too.

But what if you could have FUN along the way to that level of financial wealth, without forcing yourself to grind 80-100 hours a week?

Would it be “work” if it was fun?

Did playing around outside for hours as a kid feel like exercise or require “effort” to do?

Find that thing that sparks that kind of interest. Dig into it. Have some fun.

What if you approached everything today as if you didn’t know shit about fuck?

But with more of a fun, curious vibe.

The words came together and flowed. I already knew what to say before I knew I knew

Trust the process.

NWE is coming through in interesting ways
came across a market that’s not sexy at all, but I’m fascinated.

Knowing your strengths and weaknesses, work to root out your weaknesses and train your strengths.

If you receive some sort of value – an insight, a spark of inspiration, an emotional shift, entertainment, a chuckle, new food for thought – from the words you read

do you keep it to yourself, or do you give some sort of token of appreciation back?

How does that reflect the way you appreciate yourself?

Do you find that your ratio of taking to giving leans toward taking?

Even a tiny expression of gratitude is the highest ROI behavior you can do to benefit YOUR own life right now, and into the future.

Shift your perspective from “what can I get” to “what can I give”

Haven’t used LinkedIn in awhiiiiiiile, so when I decided to test something out earlier I had to laugh when I got the “you’ve hit your limit of people searches for the MONTH” paywall
and got an offer for their “Premium Business” subscription.

Like, when did they make the number of searches so restricted?! It felt like I was barely getting started too, lol.

So the test pool is a little tinier than I wanted, but it be like that sometimes

On to the next test!

After you realize the lies,
and go through the grief,
look around with real eyes,
the wonders beyond belief.

There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty

– Proverbs 11:24

Money is just a natural consequence of providing value.

Have been “negotiating” with a friend to build a custom sword cutting stand for me for several months now and it’s been kind of a pain as something always “kept coming up”

The last time we talked about it was a couple weeks ago.

Today, I got a random text: “So I built this test stand, if you want to come by and grab it.”

It’s not the custom stand I wanted, not by a long shot, lolol

But it’s being offered for $FREE-ninety-nine, so I’ll gratefully accept the generosity.

What’s fascinating is that I wrote about it in my journal this morning, and here we are

Reality is wonderful.

Surprised myself this morning

Challenging some doubts and negative thoughts, I started writing in my private journal.

Turns out, those thoughts (and subsequent feelings) were all based on LIES, but I couldn’t dismiss them very easily just by thinking “that’s a lie”
I had to “prove it” to myself.

It started with a list of obvious contradictions, but what surprised me is that my mind started to serve up all sorts of related experiences that I haven’t thought of in a LONG time, going way back to childhood
the images came up faster than I could type, so I stopped and just enjoyed the ride

It was great. With each bullet point, I felt lighter and lifted up, until I didn’t need to write anymore so I could let the feeling flow.

I remembered easily the truth of who I was, am, and will be

Like pointing a flash light at a dark corner where you’d swear you saw something out of the side of your eye, the lying whispers in my mind vanished without even saying goodbye.

Don’t ask “how do I get rid of this fear?”

Instead ask: “What thought is creating this sensation?”

Change the filter, don’t try to get rid of the water flowing through it.

Some of the money all of the time > all of the money some of the time

Doing something the vast majority don’t want to do is an easy way to provide value.
