Trying a new approach to structuring my productivity todayâŠ
Inspired by Limitless no doubt.
Itâs about the ability to recover readilyâŠ
And it takes practice like anything else.
I have the tendency to live in an âunbalancedâ way because I immerse myself into anything I choose to get good atâŠ
The thought came to mind the other day that I should hire an exec. assistant, a virtual one, just to âtell me what to doâ and remind me of the things past me decided (that I probably put on a sticky note somewhere but not on my calendar), lolâŠ
But for now, to boost my discipline muscle and balance out NR and Limitless, Iâm adding Spartan to the stackâŠitâs always good for bringing me back âdown to Earthâ and will help get me to take more breaks away from the computer or reading material.
Plus, I have a mountain to walk up in 5 weeks and have been slacking like a mfâer because going on extended rucks take so much time away from what Iâm learning to create. Anyhow, 5 weeks should be enough time to make some adaptations so I donât die on the mountain
Noticed that Limitless has helped focus my attention on the systems I have in place to bring my âideas into realityââŠand thatâs after only 3 loops.
Also I became more detached from the outcome of my current project and focused more on the economics and short term metrics to hit.
Basically, breaking down what seems like a monumental feat (for me) into its constituent, bite-sized parts.
Find out what the real feelz are behind the situation.
You donât think you have it in youâŠ
Fine.
Do one.
Quit after that.
Broke the 10 days of âskip working out so I can work moreâ streak yesterday and got a workout in before training. Even had thoughts to skip training last night so I could keep working, but those thoughts got exorcisedâŠ7 minutes of Spartan helped do the trick.
Started the day off with a new, old biz book thatâs been out of print for awhile. I already got the gist of the strategy from my biz mentor â itâs not rocket surgery â but I wanted to form a clearer picture of it using the source material: from the authorâs words straight to my brain.
The speed reading scripting kicked in and I naturally started to read faster, but a limiting thought would pop up repeatedly making me question if Iâd âmissed somethingâ because I read over the page too fastâŠ
I didnât miss a thing.
Seems like having a faster normal reading speed is simply a function of trusting that your eyes are capturing everything faster than you can analyze it. Not subvocalizing would probably help, so Iâll see if that diminishes over the next few weeks too.
Spartanâs physical shifting already kicking inâŠ
For several hours now Iâve had repeated sensations like micro-contractions in the area of my left shoulder and clavicleâŠwhere Iâve had a nagging issue the last few weeksâŠ
And it finally dawned on me that my bodyâs probably putting some energy into fixing up whatever the underlying issue has been, hence the twitching.
Only 1 day post 7 minute loop. No conscious guidance for this.
Had 4 belly-aching laughs today just making some fun and letting the imagination go where it wanted. And it always helps to have friends that play along.
Making the connections and jumps from one idea to the next was effortless. It just flowed.
Limitless at work.
Tested a new pair of zero drop âbarefootâ shoes yesterdayâŠcalves are sore today and I have a heavy ruck to complete after training.
Running a loop of Spartan right now to boost my resolve, cardio, and recovery.
Noticed that Iâm running subs less, and shortening cycles on the fly. Basically, adding more rest/processing days, and the results are good so far.
Something I read thatâs been ringing in my head:
Poverty doesnât require a plan. Itâs what happens when you do nothing.
Made me consider the relationship of abundance to work.
Living in fear is a waste of time.
Second run in the zero drop shoes todayâŠwasnât easy. But I didnât overdo it either.
I was a little concerned with how sore I was from yesterdayâs 50 pound ruck â which SUCKED â and had a lot of thoughts dissuading me from going out for a light run todayâŠ
But I went anyway.
(Spartan is expressing really well so far in the âget after itâ department.)
Itâs fine to have concerns, but itâs better to have REAL DATA. Mitigate the downside risk as much as possible, then take action. Find out.
Ending this cycle early and taking 4 days of rest.
So far Spartan has helped boost the drive to work out, with only 2 loops since I added it at the end of the cycle.
Limitless seems to have helped broadly across the board, but itâs most obvious in my thinking faster on my feetâŠonly 5 loops this cycle.
Nouveau RICH is running me up against deeper internal blockages to making bigger, bolder movesâŠonly 3 loops this cycle but in the stack since Feb.
A friend reached out for help with negotiating a dealâŠ
First question I asked: are you desperate for this to happen?
If youâre needy, youâve already put yourself at a disadvantage.
Anyway, I was surprised by how fast the words flowed out of me and how quickly I was able to recall past experiences that might helpâŠ
Iâll know the results soon.
This was a Limitless result for sure.
A family member I havenât talked to in months reached out for counselâŠ
I was surprised at how I was able to guide it fairly decently and in the end it was useful for us both.
Walking away from that conversation at a higher level of energy than I started, which is always a good sign.
