Invictus, you can send me a PM (or ask me on the forum). I then go over your activity to check if you have made useful posts. Even though several of the posts you made here don’t qualify, it’s about the overall picture.
I then give you a new rank and tell Saint to create your coupons.
And you should ask for yourself only, Budewr can ask if he wants to.

Am I the only one who really doesn’t care what rank is displayed?
I only focus on what the person writes, regardless of the grey title he/she has.
Especially because there doesn’t seem to be a “filter” for quality posts, or is there? So if you just “spam” the forum with somewhat irrelevant posts, you can get your rank. Obviously, nobody reading these lines does that
But you get my point.
Focus on the actual content, gentlemen. But then again, I know how humans operate. A rank always has power to it

I do go to a person’s Activity page to check the last several hundred posts they made. If they did only one-lines like “wow (emoji)” or “that is great” or “i want one of those” then I’m not giving them the rank. We want somebody that can keep a decent conversation.
But I also suspect some people are in it for the discount. There are also people that have never asked for a rank. Another human thing. They save 10%, which makes them so happy they end up spending twice as much. Supermarkets thrive on this concept. 
Maybe we should do a secret rank for people which have reached 2k posts and never asked for a rank-up.

That’d be my approach…
I once knew a person who was really into couponing. She spent all one day clipping coupons for various things, and then the next 2 days driving around from shop to shop, saving a few cents here, a dollar there. At the end of the process she’d burned a whole tank of gas and spent 3 days on shopping, and had saved about $40. She was so excited about saving $40 that she was posting about it on social media, and others were congratulating her. Nobody liked it when I pointed out that it was actually a significant loss, once you factored in how much it cost to achieve that “savings”.
It’s easier for some people to understand “save 10%” than “spend a bit more $, save time and then make MUCH more $”.
