j/k. It’s a status that’s awarded when you hit certain post counts… it’s why you also see some people blasting out dozens of posts/questions/etc per day, as different levels also come with discount codes for buying subs & customs. I call this habit “postgrinding”, but others may have other terms for it.

Keep posting, you’ll be awarded a status when you hit a certain post count. The numbers are in the thread I linked.

Yep, you qualify for Initiate as of now. You can tag one of the mods and they’ll get you upgraded.

Yes, once you hit the post count you can ask for the new status… but, as the forum grows don’t be surprised if the metrics change as more and more people appear to be posting SPECIFICALLY to increase their post count, to get the discounts…
Personally I think it would be more useful to switch to an upvote system, like Reddit or Quora has, to reward posts people truly find useful, as opposed to sheer volume.

That reminds me of a bodybuilding forum I used to chill on, we used to rep people and it would either be green or red, which would also impact your credibility

I’ve been here coming up on 2 years, and there are people who already have 2-3x more posts than I do, after joining just a few weeks ago… That’s the kind of post-grinding I’m talking about.
