lately, I’ve been feeling quite down and somewhat overly apathetic, demotivated, to do anything and somewhat haunted by past trauma, a tiny bit of social anxiety and impatience, also it’s been hard for me to take action. I’ve been doing therapy and reading a lot of philosophical material and it’s somewhat helping but not enough. what do you guys think?
It’s too dense and it would take ages if you really wanted to squeeze all the juice out of it.
Better but it’s too early to run DRU, I would go with Elixir (a very good mood stabilizer and it would help with the cleaning). But first, you need to decide what you really want. On top of that, if you’re new to the Club it would be better to start with something else than DR.
Well, at the beginning of the year, I started with DR1, and I listened to each stage for a month, so now I’m in stage three. I might have rushed this whole process, mainly because most of Feb and most of march felt quite heavy, and my overall mood was terrible, to say the least.
I’m not that new; I’ve been using Sub club for around less than a year.
After mentioning this, do you think that Elixir still would be better for me than DRU?
SC is all about experimenting and since you’re a seasoned user you can go wild with your experimentation and adding DRU to DR shouldn’t be so wild in that case. Try to avoid the most common trap in the community which is rushing through and stacking a lot of titles creating too dense stacks.
I would say, if you feel a need to be more alpha right now you could interlace Ascension or Emperor with DR. But Ascension can be stacked with much “better” subs than DR. You didn’t answer the most important question; what do you really want to achieve?
I want to have some peace of mind, achieve equanimity and resilience, get rid of everything that’s holding me back (mainly emotionally speaking) such as limiting beliefs, self-hate, insecurity, etc. I want to be confident, more grounded in reality instead of being stuck in my mind the whole time, and most importantly I want to increase my self-discipline. I hope this answers your question.
It’s seems to me you need a “hard reset” and there’s nothing better than Emperor to do that. Stacking it with DR could be too much for you but you can try. I would advise you to finish off DR first though. DR may make you feel “empty” and that can cause you feel you want to add something more but try to resist and just keep going.
Sure. If you decided to stack it with the Emperor and it occurred to be too much for you then you might reconsider running Ascension instead as it’s a much lighter sub.
I was thinking about recommending the Alchemist when I read this:
but concluded that not everybody is into spirituality and the Alchemist could not appeal to @gldistrict even though the Alchemist can be run by everyone who’s just looking for improving their inner power and looking for their purpose/mission/philosophy of life. Stacking DR with the Alchemist is a great journey.
Sometimes suggesting subliminals for other people can be a bit like psychic cold-calling due to how limited the information is about a person’s background, experiences, personality, lifestyle, relationships, dreams and aspirations, past successes and failures, etc.
You pick up a little information from the person’s style of writing and the content of the writing. But it’s largely flying blind.
You should keep that in mind as you ask for, receive, and process feedback from us.
You are the best qualified person to make decisions about how to proceed; but you need to properly prepare yourself for those decisions.
You’re already in therapy. That’s a big step of action. You’re reading, studying, and contemplating. Again, significant action.
You’ve been low-key in describing it, but it also seems that you’ve had/are having a fairly intense and hardcore subliminal journey as well.
You can be pretty confident that at least part of what you’re experiencing is indeed RECONCILIATION.
Before adding additional programs, look to your reconciliation coping strategies: the big 3–sleep, exercise, and nutrition (they tend to be relevant to everything). Meditation is in a sense a subtle hybrid of exercise and sleep (or rest to be more precise), but that sometimes helps with processing stimuli.
I’d take out Dragon Ultima. That smacks of a desperation-fueled move.
You briefly mentioned the ideas of Emperor Fitness. That fits (pun intended?) with your intuition that you’d like to get more grounded in your body. But how about starting with just doing exercise and not running another subliminal for it yet.
Trust your mind—your own mind—to work for you.
Trust your intuition.
Ask for next steps to take and see what ideas come to you.
Yeah, I have and I bought it and used it for a while at the beginning of my journey with sub club, back when all I was doing was improvising. Alchemy in itself is an interesting topic to me as well, among other things that may be considered mystical or spiritual.
The thing is, - bare with me please- it isn’t easy to distinguish between reconciliation and the actual depression that I have, they seem quite similar in some ways. Thinking about it though, journaling about the subs I’m listening to helped only in tracking how I felt before and after listening to the stack each day, however, I confess, I didn’t know what to look for exactly when it came to tracking things, so it got shallow pretty quickly leading me stopping the whole thing.
Do you have any advice when it comes to distinguishing between both, so I do this thing properly?
