Stacking DR with something else

This is precisely one of the things that I’ve been struggling with for sometime, so this might be a great addition to the stack.

Unfortunately, I tend to minimize the positive things I do to help myself, and sometimes totally dismiss or ignore them. Thank you for reminding and somewhat giving me a nudge to start noticing these things more.

My sleep definitely improved, and I’ve been exercising and eating healthy every day, however, I’ve been lacking a lot when it comes to journaling and meditation. So I think the best thing to do is reintroduce them into my daily routine to help me cope more.

Do you mean that I should only listen to DR in its 4 stages for a year, without adding anything else to it?

That would be a good idea since ultimas have been somewhat hard to listen to due to their loudness, even though I think it does make me feel a bit better and sometimes I don’t know honestly. Do you think I should replace it with something else or simply take it out?

I hope so, thank you

You’re most definitely not alone in this. I’ve even created a name for it: ‘Zero-Point Fallacy’. It refers to the tendency we have when embarking on a process of learning or change to assume/pretend that we are starting from a position of zero progress. Objectively speaking, this is almost never the case. One of the most profound and helpful moves in learning and change is the move to recognize the knowledge and experience that you already have even before making the decision to prioritize a particular area or direction. It makes a huge difference and can seem to almost miraculously speed and enhance learning or growth. In fact, it hasn’t much sped up anything objectively, but it has facilitated a major subjective shift.

As an example, when reading a book, one could ask oneself, ‘What do I already know about what is being discussed?’ (Interestingly, once you’re able to do this, it is equally helpful to, now, intentionally move in the opposite direction and go into the Zero Point. Now it functions not as a barrier to learning, but a doorway. This is the Zen ‘Beginner’s Mind’ approach. Eventually, this modulation between ‘Beginner’s Mind’ and ‘Knowing Mind’ becomes a process similar to adjusting a boat’s sails in order to best tack the wind.)

The reason I felt that including Dragon Reborn Ultima right now smacked of desperation was that you are still clearly involved right in the midst of that DR-facilitated growth-and-change process. DR Ultima seems to me more of a tool to use once that process has already peaked. It quickly re-evokes the strength and clarity of Dragon Reborn functioning at full fruition. But there’s no point in re-evoking that state of full-fruition Dragon Reborn when you haven’t evoked it for the first time yet.

You’ll reach that point soon enough, but until then, listening to the Ultima track seems like being on a mountain hike and constantly looking through your binoculars even though you’re surrounded by trees and haven’t yet passed the cloud line.

(hopefully that metaphor makes sense.)

As to your question of adding anything else, I’m becoming more and more passionate about Parsimony and Focus.

If you 1) run a light but powerful stack that is 2) closely aligned and grounded with your current actions and priorities, well, you’re basically just going to zip right through the programs in a very satisfying and effective way.

On the other hand, the more you 1) pile on or switch between more and more programs that 2) may or may not be immediately relevant to your current actions, priorities, or circumstances, well, the more you’ll need to wait, wait, and wait (which then leads to doubting, doubting, and doubting).

If I were advising my September 2019 self (when I purchased my first subliminal), I’d say, ‘just start with Ascension. Nothing else. Your ultimately going to want to work through Alchemist and Quantum Limitless. But first run Ascension. Let it carry you to the next subliminal.’

So, yeah, I’d recommend that you take a good look at what you care about and what you are already doing. And after you figure out what that is? Run Ascension. hahhahaha.

Seriously though. Sticking to 1 or 2 is probably the best bet. You’re leg-deep into this Dragon Reborn process already and you seem to really care about evolving and healing. So it makes sense to stick mainly with that.

And here’s the secret: ‘When you care about something, your brain is already working on it. Even before you start to play a subliminal.’ So don’t worry that you’re losing time because you haven’t started a program yet. That’s an illusion here on the forum. It’s not true.

In the time before you start listening, your mind is already making progress that will enhance and supplement the program when you do get around to playing it.

First if you do have depression please keep seeing your health care provider as subliminals have the medical disclaimer when you buy them.

I would defer this question for @SaintSovereign or @Fire.

If 2 days past and they haven’t replied, please retag them.
