Sorry about that.
No worries. She was loved.
2/17/24 Cycle 2 Day 8 Rest Review
Total Days Counter: 86
Sleep - 10/10 Perfect
Daily Routine - 9/10 Had a visitor but productive and thoughtful day
Action - 9/10 Little lag no resistance.
Habits - 10/10 Great
Emotions - 10/10 Awesome
Daily Thoughts - Picking up new things from old success audios that have been with me for a few years. Weird how that works. Thinking about my dailies and further tweaks. I can do the oropharyngeal exercises together with morning stretches to save time for example. Also read about Nback training as cognitive therapy for stroke patients. 30 mins vigorous exercise alone did not improve fluid intelligence but pairing it with Nback training right afterward helped them. I’ll do Nback after my morning cardio first before Tony Robbins Priming. Fri Sun Tue seem like the best workout schedule for me. Philip J Fry Sun Tzu is also an easy mnemonic.
2/18/24 Cycle 2 Stack Run: DRLD+QLST2 Day 9 Review
Total Days Counter: 87
Sleep - 10/10 Stellar
Daily Routine - 8/10 Missed a few morning items but made up for it. Noon onwards was great
Action - 10/10 No lag and resistance
Habits - 10/10 Mindful
Emotions - 10/10 Triumphant
Daily Thoughts - Endgame for workouts is becoming more clear thanks to K boges. Avoiding injury is the number one priority. Also discovered a simple life hack that I desperately needed. Your phone and your bed must be mutually exclusive. I won’t allow myself to hold my phone when I lie down in bed ever again. The phone can’t leave the desk period. It’s that simple and that solves my time leak. If I can see the total time wasted on doomscrolling I’d be a taekwondo master for kicking myself. Aside from that today was somewhat special. I felt extremely focused and my mental clarity was through the roof. I missed that feeling of drive and ambition. Excited for tomorrow.
2/19/24 Cycle 2 Day 10 Rest Review
Total Days Counter: 88
Sleep - 9/10 A little bit of insomnia but felt alright waking up early. Will sleep earlier tonight to compensate
Daily Routine - 10/10 Extra stuff but did everything. On a roll
Action - 10/10 Smooth
Habits - 10/10 Steady
Emotions - 10/10 Passionate
Daily Thoughts - My standard working days are fairly established but still open to improvements here and there. A thousand days of training to develop, ten thousand days of training to polish. We must always improve. Optimizing my rest days and weekly, monthly, and annual activities next.
I find that time blocking seems more effective overall than doing everything on my to-do list if I ever start late. Instead of cramming everything and feeling behind all day I just accept the loss. The failure is more concrete and I avoid the bad habit of tolerating my timelessness.
2/20/24 Cycle 2 Stack Run: DRLD+QLST2 Day 11 Review
Total Days Counter: 89
Sleep - 9/10 Woke up in the middle of the night chilly and had to pee but still felt ok in the morning. Noticed the white noise machine was off so charged the batteries today.
Daily Routine - 10/10 Getting better. Added cold shower immediately after workout to get rid of sweat. Also added 2nd session of QnB after workouts.
Action - 10/10 Perfect
Habits - 10/10 Precise
Emotions - Very happy with my daily progress and how my life-shaping is turning out.
Daily Thoughts - Felt some sort of weird disorientation towards the end of my afternoon QnB session today. It felt like my consciousness wanted to get out of my body. It felt a bit like fainting but not quite like it. I wasn’t fatigued or anything and my breathing was fine. I pushed through anyway and felt perfectly fine afterward.
The rule of separation between my phone and bed has helped immensely. Noticed another weakness which is unplanned screen time towards the night. I’ll add the rule of shutting down my PC for good before I execute my night routine. Whatever I need to browse or research can be done the next day when I am more in control.
2/21/24 Cycle 2 Day 12 Rest Review
Total Days Counter: 90
Sleep - 9/10 Woke up earlier than usual but energy was enough for the whole day
Daily Routine - 10/10 Was supposed to be a rest day and go out but changed plans. I ended up just deep-cleaning my place. The kitchen and living room still need some work though.
Action - 9/10 Some lag and resistance at like 3 to 4 am after stretching because I didn’t know what to do while waiting for 5.30 am for my morning walk. I have to optimize and be specific next time.
Habits - 10/10 Very productive for a rest day
Emotions - 10/10 Satisfied and relieved
Daily Thoughts - My energy somewhat dipped in the afternoon but I was extra mindful not to lie in bed and fall into an old habit. It was a bit of a struggle but chose the right actions until completion, even the sequence of brushing my teeth and mouthwashing before washing dishes. It’s minor but I save time washing dishes while the mouthwash is in my mouth.
Tomorrow should be another great rest day that I spend on cleaning. I’ll continue being productive until I can take it somewhat easy and they actually become rest days.
2/22/24 Cycle 2 Stack Run: DRLD+QLST2 Day 13 Review
Total Days Counter: 91
Sleep - 9/10 Woke up twice due to nocturia but had enough energy anyway
Daily Routine - 10/10 Great rest day. Couldn’t finish the cleaning but made the most of it.
Action - 10/10
Habits - 10/10
Emotions - 10/10 Inspired, happy and content
Daily Thoughts - Got rid of a lot of stuff. Turns out I’m a bit of a hoarder. Thinking about low-maintenance tough indoor plants that purify air for my bedroom. Peace lily seems great along with snake plant and cast iron plant.
2/23/24 Cycle 2 Day 14 Rest Review
Total Days Counter: 92
Sleep - 7/10 Woke up too prematurely. Screen time 1 hour. Slept again. Energy was more than ok though.
Daily Routine - 9/10 Missed my morning prayer but perfect otherwise
Action - 10/10
Habits - 10/10 Extremely mindful of each activity
Emotions - 10/10 Fresh, Sharp
Daily Thoughts - It seems Cast Iron plant (Aspidistra elatior) is the toughest of the bunch. Just need to know the pot size and potting mix and how many I need for my rooms. Very happy for today. My routine is much more polished and each step is almost intuitive. My reading list is Getting Things Done, UltraLearning, and Make It Stick just to see where I can improve. Add what’s useful. Drop what’s useless.
2/24/24 Cycle 2 Stack Run: DRLD+QLST2 Day 15 Review
Total Days Counter: 93
Sleep - 7/10 Nocturia again but enough energy to execute. I will limit my fluid intake tonight and see if that helps.
Daily Routine -10/10 Still perfect
Action - 9/10 Some lag and resistance early on but it was easy after overcoming them
Habits - 10/10 Great. Added learning/reading to my time slot for workouts during rest days so my structure stays in place.
Emotions - 10/10 Light and easy
Daily Thoughts - Page 113 of Getting Things Done by David Allen. Simple, systematic, and insightful. I’ve already implemented some of the stuff in my life but would read this first if I can go back in time…to save time. Added 3 speed-reading books to my list as well. Everything is going great.
2/25/24 Cycle 2 Day 16 Rest Review
Total Days Counter: 94
Sleep - 8/10 Still woke up but felt some improvement from last night. Will adjust fluid intake again today.
Daily Routine - 10/10
Action - 10/10
Habits - 10/10
Emotions - 10/10 Fire and Ice. Burning with passion but chill
Daily Thoughts - Page 202 of Getting Things Done by David Allen. Some parts were a bit archaic considering it was written some years ago but the principles are timeless. I could definitely see this making me more effective.
The synergy of positive habits is showing. High energy levels and focus throughout the day. I feel like a new man. I also feel like a breakthrough to Q4B is coming soon as long as I don’t drop it off schedule again. Very happy with my stack and my future.
2/26/24 Cycle 2 Stack Run: DRLD+QLST2 Day 17 Review
Total Days Counter: 95
Sleep - 8/10 Same as yesterday. Not drinking anything after 5 pm now.
Daily Routine - 10/10
Action - 10/10 Minor resistance on hamstring stretches+tongue push-ups and push-downs. The most uncomfortable part of my morning routine.
Habits - 10/10
Emotions - 10/10 Enthusiastic and optimistic
Daily Thoughts - Page 260 of Getting Things Done by David Allen. Learned more and applied them on the go. Taking notes with page numbers on a spreadsheet as well so my reading pace is slower. Just from here, I can already say it’s life-changing. It’s a simple system but very effective. This is a godsend for people with ADHD like me. Quite an improvement over my simple Kanban method.
Very happy with my recent days as well. I want my perfect days to be the standard so I’m always moving towards that and polishing the smallest details. Analyzed gaps and breaks as well and brainstormed what I could put in them. My weekly refresh sheet is also helpful.
2/27/24 Cycle 2 Day 18 Rest Review
Total Days Counter: 96
Sleep - 1/10 Terrible. Only slept like 3 hrs and struggled to sleep again. Read about cold diuresis. I’ll try adjusting my AC tonight.
Daily Routine - 8/10 Excellent except for the few missed items in the morning. Could have been worse
Action - 10/10 Heavy resistance but pushed through
Habits - 10/10
Emotions - 8/10 Felt like crap in the morning. Now I’m good after working out and everything
Daily Thoughts - Page 262. Barely had time to read but now I have a final version for my dailies accessible via PC and mobile alike so I always know what to do at any moment. Will keep on refining when needed along with the other lists he recommends. I like his macro and micro approach and how all horizon activities should be aligned and congruent with each other - i.e., your current projects should not deviate from your life mission. Quite a useful tool for choosing which to tackle next and dropping a lot of pursuits you thought you wanted but don’t actually need.
2/28/24 Cycle 2 Stack Run: DRLD+QLST2 Day 19 Review
Total Days Counter: 97
Sleep - 2/10 Everyone’s dogs were barking for like an hour…at 2am
Daily Routine -10/10 Productive rest day
Action - 10/10
Habits - 10/10
Emotions - 9/10 A bit exhausted
Daily Thoughts - It was a long day. The highlight was paying for a couple’s meal. They looked out of place even in that simple restaurant. They brought their 1-3-month-old baby so I guess I was moved. I’m a lone wolf and don’t talk to strangers but somehow I surprised myself. There’s always more pleasure in giving than receiving.
2/29/24 Cycle 2 Day 20 Rest Review
Total Days Counter: 98
Sleep - 8/10 A lot better but still not ideal. I miss it when I sleep all the way into the morning.
Daily Routine - 9/10 Still an active rest day. Going through my shopping backlog and following my schedule albeit loosely.
Action - 9/10
Habits - 9/10
Emotions - 9/10 Satisfied overall
Daily Thoughts - As much as I enjoy it, music is quite a distraction. You end up with several loops and branches. The difference is obvious. Not judging it though, just a noteworthy observation. Life without art is vapid after all.
3/1/24 Cycle 2 Stack Run: DRLD+QLST2 Day 21 Review
Total Days Counter: 99
Sleep - 9/10 Unsure if I woke up in the middle of the night but I didn’t feel 100% waking up.
Daily Routine -10/10 Did everything on schedule
Action - 10/10
Habits - 10/10
Emotions - 10/10 Disciplined and content. Could not ask for more
Daily Thoughts - Time flies too fast. We have to squeeze and maximize each day. Finally, my second cycle of QLST2 is finished and I look forward to what ST3 will bring. Hopefully not too much recon. I’m very happy with my progress and I want to maintain this level of discipline. So far I’m convinced of DRLD and QLST1+ST2’s efficacy. The road was far from smooth up to this point but it has definitely changed my life trajectory. Without SC I probably would have continued being stuck on my old patterns of complacency and lethargy. No $1m anytime soon. I’m still at the optimizing stage of my 3 Es. Energy, Environment, and Emotions. I believe these three are crucial in self-actualization and life-shaping. I’m around 90%. Just a bit more and I can do a hyperbolic chamber in day trading. Negative thoughts and emotions occur very rarely now, if at all, and even if they do they don’t seem to affect me as much as they used to. It was really bad before. I would even get interrupted by flashbacks as I was exercising or doing my gratitude and visualization rituals.
3/2/24 Cycle 2 Day 22 Dayoff 1 Review

Daily Routine - 9/10 Missed my morning stretching
Action - 9/10 Some resistance on stretching

Daily Thoughts - Just doing stuff to keep moving forward. Following my schedule.
3/3/24 Cycle 2 Day 23 Dayoff 2 Review
Total Days Counter: 101
Sleep - 8/10 Slept late but it was ok
Daily Routine - 9/10 Woke up late but finished everything fortunately
Action - 10/10
Habits - 10/10
Emotions - 9/10 Peaceful
Daily Thoughts - Did a 1 hour QnB session to make up for missed morning session. Stayed at Q4B for a while but leveled down. It wasn’t as hard this time around. I thought this was gonna be an awful day because of last night. I just focused on doing what I had to do. Luckily it worked out. I’ll do better tonight.
3/4/24 Cycle 2 Day 24 Dayoff 3 Review
Total Days Counter: 102
Sleep - 8/10 Woke up too early but did not lack energy
Daily Routine - 6/10 ADHD day mostly.research and some more shopping
Action - 7/10 Lag. Mistimings
Habits - 7/10
Emotions - 5/10 Started great but went downhill
Daily Thoughts - GF needs more attention than I can give. During lunchbreak should be enough. Sometimes it’s quite a challenge. Whatever. I’m doing what’s best for us. She can break up with me if she can’t put up.
3/5/24 Cycle 2 Day 25 Dayoff 4 Review
Total Days Counter: 103
Sleep - 6/10 Slept too long. Felt tired
Daily Routine - 3/10 Just chose to fvck it today. Did bare minimum. Will bounce back
Action - 3/10
Habits - 3/10
Emotions - 3/10 Uninspired
Daily Thoughts - What’s the point of planning a date when she lets you eat alone but passive-agressively won’t eat because she’s full? Yeah, she’s full alright. Full of sh*t
