Sage’s Rise: the Wanted Son of Lightning

Good thought! I updated my post above.

Thanks for the tag @RVconsultant! I’m happy to help however I can.

Basically, a dopamine detox entails intentionally depriving yourself of any dopamine spiking activities for a set amount of time. This includes: smartphone use, computer use, TV, movies, video games, food, music, basically any of the “pleasure seeking” activities we do to distract ourselves in this modern world of convenience.

It’s a tough test of discipline and willpower but really helped to hit the “reset button” in terms of physiology and give me a lot of clarity. I did not do it with the intention of stopping PMO but my experience leads me to believe it could be very beneficial for this purpose. Just be cautious once you start engaging in dopamine inducing activities again that you don’t “gorge” yourself thinking you earned it from the detox. It’s all about disciplined moderation.

It’s very tough, and few people will do it, but I can assure you it’s well worth it.

You know what tells me I could use this?

My first thought was “What else is there to do then?”

The only one I’m incapable of cessation of is smart phone use as that’s… The device I’m on now, however, I could very much limit it.

Thank you, Ice.

That was the big one for me as well! Honestly after doing the detox I’ve been more mindful of my phone usage, although I still have a ways to go and catch myself while being distracted.

I think the biggest thing it helped me with was breaking the habits that normally control us. It allowed me to prioritize my behaviors and be a lot more mindful of my activities.

Honestly dude I’d give it a try for a day. Just 24 hours. It’s gonna be boring af but by pulling it off you’ll be really proud of yourself because you showed yourself what you’re really made of.

Lower back pain can be a sign of Yin-Jing deficiency. It often shows when you have to much sex or PMO.
There is a herb that is called He Shou Wu that is great at restoring Yin-Jing (base vitality). I have experience with it and it does what it says.
Dragon Herbs have a good one. The dose is 6 capsules a day, 3 in the morning and 3 at night. It will take about 2 weeks to show full effect.

Dysfunctions show,
when your fuel tank’s low

But the fuel tank can get low for all kinds of reasons, helpful and unhelpful.

I think that in general, you’re moving on a path of evolution. Positive, growth-related activities can get you just as tired and strung-out as negative, growth-undermining ones.

This is just a long way to say, you recently got up, got busy and got out the house. You focused your attention on long-term goals, planning, and trying to get things where you want them to be. This takes energy, and we, understandably, tend to pursue it in a get-this-shit-done-as-quickly-as-possible fashion. That can lead, temporarily, to tiredness and stress. To cope with those we sometimes turn to our less-than-functional coping habits.

But I think you’re just finding your sea-legs.

The more that you successfully adjust, the more your tank will be filling up again. You’ll end up stronger than you were before you started.

Thanks, man!

@Malkuth is consistently helpful in an gentle, tactful way!

My head is more clear today and was yesterday as well. I got so used to having the feeling of processing going on in my head that I forgot… Peace.

I was tempted to run R.I.C.H but I’m doing my best to stick to my guns and complete this basic washout.

Yesterday, I played my custom, R.I.C.H and Paragon, one loop each.

Just taking note to edit later with more.

Yesterday, I played Wanted x Paragon.

So while playing R.I.C.H the other day, I noticed that I feel it physically. It starts from somewhere in my base and the feeling rises up to my head. It’s a sort of pressure.

Paragon on the other hand cleared my head and made me feel good, which was the opposite of what I was expecting.

In my last post, I said I played Wanted and Paragon; I meant Wanted x R.I.C.H.

More later.

I am considering a learning subliminal as my current job and possible future job (police officer) both demand quite a bit of learning.

@Trader @Simon @Malkuth and any others, between QL, Limitless, BLU and the others, which would you recommend for a job where one has to learn procedures, different installations of appliances and have to memorize a bunch of stuff?

My first thought is QL.

I’d say it depends on the timeframe. Over what period of time do you expect to be learning and studying? How rapid or urgent are your needs?

How much do you want to integrate enhanced learning and processing as a stable part of your lifestyle?

If it’s not too urgent and short-term of a situation, and if you’d like to integrate this into your long-term lifestyle, then Quantum Limitless is the clear choice.

Final consideration, what are your subliminal priorities over the next 6-8 months?

If you have room for it, i’m a lover of Quantum Limitless. On the forum, you’ve always been a clever person who enjoys witty exchanges and creativity. So I think you’ll get good enjoyment out of QL. And by the time you get to month 3 or 4, it’ll be firing on all cylinders and will give a lot of fun and benefit. Great program.

Just your answer alone confirms my intuitive leaning towards Quantum Limitless.

To answer, it’ll be definitely for long term.

My subliminal priorities are shifting so in a few days I would be able to answer that more accurately.

While it isn’t necessarily urgent for outer reasons, I have been desiring improvement of my mental faculties since last September; I just prioritized more ‘sexy’ leanings.

@RVconsultant forgot to tag ya, mate.

Do you agree with @Malkuth’s reasoning?

I’d go Limitless for short-term term, but chuck in QL simultaneously to start working on the longer term.

I’d also add Survival Instinct, as well as Blink, Eagle Eye, Immortal’s Blade, Master’s Coordination, Codename:Umbra… and the other physical, self-protection type oriented ones at the Q store.

I edited my future custom plans to add in Survival Instinct. I’m not sure how I missed that one as others have suggested it but perhaps you’re my friendly reminder!

It’s interesting you recommended Limitless for short term as this morning, my thoughts shifted to getting Limitless first, running it with my custom (which contains AM, Primal and IC,) and R.I.C.H.

That’s my intentions for my stack for the next month to answer your question @Malkuth
