”If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.
And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.”
The problem with social media, smartphones and even this forum is that they are too good. It’s too good. An easy escape. It’s not that they are bad, they are just too good.
The modern internet, run on data about you, from you, for you. It’s too good. Every video is intriguing on YouTube. Every post feels like a click-bait, except it’s not clickbait, it’s perfectly curated content.
But my emotions stay suppressed. I keep escaping. I stay connected.
Throw it away.
