I would look into web design for small business.
These days, you can quickly learn how to make websites (I use WordPress And no code templates, it is drag and drop, similar to say Microsoft PowerPoint). You should be able to learn fairly quick, as you already are well versed in tech.
I would say, week of YouTube videos and you are good to go. You are not going to be able to do custom stuff, but many small businesses need just basic website with opening hours, some photos and address. You will learn a lot when doing your own website, which may help you attract clients, so win - win.
If they request letâs say downloadable pdf menu, just Google âhow to add pdf menu to WordPress site for freeâ or ask chatgpt same question.
You can find clients on Google maps or Facebook (letâs say find hairdresser + your city on fb or Google maps), look for those with no website and listed email, and craft some nicely sounding email - I noticed you donât have a website. Having one can attract more customers. Offer it for really low price, so they agree. You can even do first websites for free, so you build a portfolio.
Then you can ask if they by chance have any issues with their tech and upsell them for you maintenance services.
It may seem like a lot of work, but hey, itâs worth trying, isnât it?
