Recon - Immediate Actionable Things to Help Reduce It (or at least my attempt at it)

Since i am getting a lot of recon with DR:LD, it will be a great opportunity to experiment with recon reduction techniques.

I spent a few hours browsing the forum about it yesterday then I thought, “why don’t I combine all of them?”

so, I made this experimental routine that I will do based on what has worked for me and what I saw in the forum. I will list them from what I will do first:

  1. Less is more, start from 30 seconds - 3 minutes first. space out the listening day more if needed.

  1. Music, sing & dance
  2. Eat something really sweet / chocolate / drink salt water / coconut water / electrolytes
  3. Workout
  4. Drink water, a lot, safely. i found this to be the most immediate fix in large quantity.
  5. Do the goals of the sub.
  • based on DR:LD’s, other than what I’ve already been doing, I will do more self-introspection & gratitude journal. I’m also running LBFH so laughing will help release tension, i will try watching comedy. with Ascension Chamber’s goals, I will do visualization exercises
  1. Meditation, I will try mindfulness meditation since it’s the only one I know. *Sit with the feeling and dive into it
  2. Walk

  1. Sun exposure, enjoy nature.
  2. Offline journal, write the bad emotions you are feeling there to let off steam.
  3. run a micro loop (breakthrough loop) of the sub again if it is a topical recon.
  4. Red Light Therapy Machine

  1. get good food, supplements, and whatever the body needs (even junk food can work apparently), reduce drug & alcohol intake. optimize your health
  1. get good sleep, get more REM sleep if you can
  2. socialize, connect with loved ones, talk with your friends about the meaning of how the recon feels
  3. be productive

  1. use ear plugs, go camping even. the less auditory input throughout the day, the less input for the brain to process which leads to more bandwidth to process the subs.
  2. run a feel good sub like sanguine, lbfh, or rebirth
  3. washout

to be experimented on:
19. floatation tank
20. white noise, brown noise, or fan sound

I also read that yoga and EFT can help. i didn’t put these above since I don’t know what yoga exercise to do and saint asked to do EFT with caution.

I will experiment with doing 1 - 7 immediately after listening to a stack (around 2 hours in total), 8 - 10 when applicable/available.

This list is by no means final, feel free to put your recommendations below!

EDIT: i realized a few days ago that i can’t edit a post after 30 days, so let me put this here before I can’t anymore

After experimenting with most of the things above, I found that seeking for clarity and certainty is the best & quickest way to resolve a recon.

Journaling & taking action help a lot in that.

If there is a contradiction brought up by a sub, seek clarity by stating your goal & what you want to be with the sub.

It’s not conclusive yet though, i still need to experiment more on it to ascertain this hypothesis.

Also take a read at this, Malkuth put it really well & more in depth than i did.

Junk food, having a girlfriend, sleep and time. Just push through it because its working mentality. That’s been my approach lol

Basically any social activity with loved ones. Human being are social creatures and we need contact with people.

Meditation is actually very good for recon.

  • sit with the feeling(s) and diving into them is another one. Requires mindfulness and patience but works great!

  • Talk with a friend about the meaning of the recon feelings (another great one for processing)

Fantastic suggestions for emotional recon! I’ll contribute my usual… electrolytes, choline, and whatever else your brain needs.

Processing dense subs is like an intense studying session (think cramming for an exam); it has a physical and neurochemical toll on your brain. This depletes come neurochemicals, and replacing them will help you recover faster. In my case, one of the recon symptoms is a headache and general tightness; which also manifests as jaw clenching. This is identical to the symptoms of an acetylcholine deficiency, so I address that by taking some phosphatidyl choline (though alpha gpc, citicholine, etc all work well, and maybe better, but PC is what I can get at whole foods with the rest of my supps, so that’s what I get). If I’ve got a dopamine deficiency, for example, I’d take some l-tyrosine…

magnesium, b vitamins, fish oil… these also all support proper brain function, and can help make symptom-based recon vanish rather quickly.

Those are some great tips

I’ve been doing them too as a way to deal with recon and i can say that they do bring more peace, release, and certainty into my mind

I will add them as a reminder

I’ll have to google those first, rofl

I’m going to quote it on the post since it’s packed with information

I’m just a guy on the internet that reads a lot and has been a biohacker for years, so I’ve learned a bit and am happy to share what has worked for me; YMMV.

Funny enough I actually have a pretty good stack of supplement I feel they helped me at this level.

I eat cheap af food most of the time so I go take some of my nutriton in supps.

Supplements are a good investment indeed on top of your lifestyle. Can attest

If I recall correctly I think chocolate helps with reducing recon. It is related with point #2.

@Plutus said he was recommended MCT oil by saint?

I’ve seen “Open Bounties” to experiment with walking, additional water, coconut water, electrolytes.

Sometimes, the next day after you listen to a full loop, if you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed with recon, it’s ironically really helpful to listen to a 30s microloop. Same way that the easiest way to cure a hangover is to have a beer the next morning  (but less unhealthy lol)

My personal strategy is just optimizing health, really…

Go for a 1hr walk in nature every day

Wake up and do something productive with your morning, stay off your phone

Socialize, connect with others, allow the subs to flourish

Work on your goals, take action, allow the subs to flourish

Reduce drug & alcohol intake

Going to say tip #1 again - walking (in the forest, if you can) is like THE BEST processing activity you can do.

Red Light Therapy Machine is a good way to get rid of recon almost instantly I’ve noticed before I started using QTKS and to improve cognitive results as well.

Also @Sub.Zero posted something that I use occasionally. Just gotta be careful not to overlisten on top of your stack.

But rebirth, sanguine and LD help with recon symptoms

Interesting. How long do you expose? Any machine you recommend?

added MCT oil, walking, coconut water, electrolytes, optimizing health, be productive, socialize, reduce drug&alcohol, and red light therapy machine :+1:

added rebirth too. i don’t know about LD though, I’m doing this specifically to resolve the recon from DR:LD lol

I haven’t heard that before, I’m gonna try it when I get a hangover

I usually just use a small one like this for 5 minutes everyday with red and near-red light:
