There’s nothing for us to do here. Let SC cleanup the mess :sunglasses:

As police officers might say: “Step out of the way people, nothing to see here”

@Alphamale and @SubliminalUser are right.

We have all said what needed to be said. Please report his posts. Not worth wasting our time on him.

He’s a psyop designed by rival subliminal companies with the purpose of distracting us from reaching our goals and maintaining our productivity. AI is really something nowadays.

Don’t even report or read, ignore him

Very much possible.

If the forum software allows it, perhaps implement a short waiting period before new accounts can post? A few days shouldn’t be too detrimental for anyone serious about joining this community.

The only issue I see with that is that sometimes there are people who lurk here for quite some time, and if one day any of them decided to join the forum to ask stuff before making a purchase or regarding customs, the waiting period can end up being seen as an unfair or an annoying feature.

Don’t abuse the privilege, but as some of you have already found out, flagging a post as Spam will auto-hide it.

At least we now finally know what to do. I admit it was slightly stressful being divided between suspending and condoning with every flagged post.

For the record, I still wish Madara all the best, the challenge in communication between us were frustrating to the point I didn’t know what else I could say, but I hope he’ll get over whatever it is that’s making him so confrontational and causing the disconnect in communication.

I also of course understand Saint and Fire’s point of view. It was draining on me to manage it just on this forum and they have to deal with it on and off the forum all over the Internet. And that’s on top of all the other complaints, nay-sayers and strange support requests. It takes up a lot of valuable time.

I also know about the communication with Meng’s relatives and there was a LOT going on there which was not shared here. The subliminals were simply the tip of the very large ice berg that was Meng’s life and that certain events took place in combination with subs appear to be a case of unfortunate coincidence.

Anyways, in completely unrelated news I was going to post this yesterday right before the banhammer struck. I’ll make an exception to my rule of not referring to people not around and post it.

A man walks down the street minding his own business. Out of nowhere a car appears, hits him and drives on.

2 days later he wakes up in the hospital, all his limbs in cast. The nurse comes up.
“Good, you’re awake. It was touch and go there after that car ran you over.”
“What are you talking about, I was not run over. And what does “car” even mean? Be more specific.”
“I’m sorry? You are in the hospital, sir.”
“You are 100% wrong. Stop lying.”

The nurse feels she is not qualified to explain it and goes to get the doctor. When the doctor arrives the man has somehow managed to sit up on the bed. The doctor rushes towards him.

“Sir, you can’t get up, it’s hazardous to your health. Please lie back down.”
“What are you talking about. Obviously I CAN get up and I’m still alive aren’t I? What makes you an expert? Medical school? The teachers are a bunch of quacks. Your diploma is 100% useless. You obviously know nothing.”
“Sir, discharging yourself is against medical advice.”
“So what, you moron. Get lost!”

The man leaves the hospital. Two weeks later he collapses. When he wakes back in the hospital the doctor greets him.
“Sir, you were very lucky, you almost died.”
“Nonsense, I’m fine. I was just tired. Besides, if I was at any risk you should have told me not to leave the hospital.”
“But I did, sir. I told you that discharging yourself was against medical advice.”
“Puh-lease. Show me the proof. Did you record that conversation? No? Then it didn’t happen. If there’s any damage to me it’s 100% your fault.”

The doctor shows the man the discharge papers where he signed the waiver stating it was against medical advice. The man tears it up.
“Didn’t happen.”
“But…”
“What do you mean, but?”
“I…”
“That’s wrong.”
“…”
The doctor, feeling completely defeated and drained leaves the room, letting the man have the last word.

How about a new user sandbox, where new users must have their first few posts subject to moderation?

I do realize that it’s volunteering mods for more work, which I don’t like… but perhaps there’s a technical solution? Just spitballing here.

I believe it is possible to auto-hide posts of new users until a moderator reviews and approves. I’ve had a few posts in the past that I needed to review. But it was probably disabled when we became more popular and lots of new users came in. I’m not opposed to re-enabling it, at least until things cool down.

I’ll put in a request for a “bedside manner” sub.

Lol. We need an Anti-troll subliminal. Trolls who run it will become reasonable and forum admins who run it will find trolls turning into pleasant fairies.

 RV ACTUALLY EDITED THE INSULTS OUT OF THIS POST, WOW.

@RVconsultant really is the most objective moderator of all-time. Honestly I don’t think there’s a better moderating team on the entire Internet.

Hey everyone!

I see what is going on, and I think others do too.

Please as tempting as it might be, no insults, no name calling, no disparaging.

Please ignore and flag, and I think you know when to do so.

Focus on why you came here. Personal improvement. Connecting with others on a similar journey. Giving encouragement. And so forth.
