I cannot answer questions about The Executive, as that’s @Fire 's domain. On the topic of True Social, its main focus is to help the user understand the hidden dynamics of any social situation and intuitively know how to respond.
For example, the concept of “power talk.” It occurs in high level boardrooms, or dealing with wealth individuals. It’s a form of coded speech in which the person is trying to convey an idea and information while maintaining plausible deniability that they actually said it, as well as speaking with implied dominance. They are expecting the receiver of the information to be able to respond. They are also testing the person’s inner status, to see how they’ll respond to the subtle challenge, see if they will fall in line as a potential leader or a potential follower.
I’ll give a very short, but obvious example of powertalk. When politicians talk about some disaster they caused, and they respond to questions with: “Mistakes were made.”
Not “we made a mistake,” or “[x] person made a mistake.” Instead, it’s “mistakes were made,” as if whatever happened occurred completely by itself. There’s clear subtext here that – believe it or not – some people cannot grasp, even though it is very obvious on a deep, deep level what this form of communication means.
So, it’s less about peacocking in social situations and more about understanding all these “hidden dynamics” and being able to react in a manner that raises your social status and social capital. As a sales expert starting a coaching business, think about how that would affect your ability to operate.
