Planning on publishing a book and looking for stack advice

The spicy wish fulfillment type of novel

Thank you for the long term perspective. You’re running HOM right?

I just got done running HoM (6 months) + EOG (one year). Life-changing to say the least. I was on a washout from that when Genesis came out. I’m switching to Genesis + RoM for now. As soon as I’m done with it (in about a year), I’m going right back to HoM + EOG. That stack is too good.

@Dark how’s your writing going? I’m nowhere near your 10k/day goal, but I did write 2k words a couple of nights ago. I’m closing in on 30k words for my book now, I should just be about finished by the end of the year at this pace.

Oh, and to finally answer your intended question… If any of your plot ideas ever come from dreams, RoD might be one to consider. I haven’t got that one, but it seems like it could fit well.

That’s good progress
Which genre are you writing?

Thank you!

Dystopian near-ish future sci-fi, though several of the plot elements have actually happened in the past few weeks already, so it’s feeling less sci-fi than I’d originally thought. haha. :flushed:

Book 1 takes place a generation from now, book 2 takes place basically now, as a mid-story prequel of sorts, and book 3 jumps back to “present day” in the future to wrap up the story.

I write what I know; this is an exploration of some of my fears through the framework of a hero journey-style story. At least in my story, I know how it turns out… reality is a different matter completely.
