This is what I was referring to. To illustrates the different types of plots he gives the example of heist type plots.

Thanks! I’ll save it to my watch later playlist.
There is also a heist-style sublot, though it’s actually for an abduction… but I think it would fit the same pattern given the complexity required to pull it off.
I’m I right in assuming that the perfect abduction plan the characters spend pages crafting will inevitably come crashing down?
That’d be spoiling the plot if I told.
No; it will seem like it will, but it will be saved by a bit of a deus ex machina thing that will make sense in the 3rd book. probably. Nothing like complexity to make things clear as mud!
Yep, I’m always surprised to see how the simplest of ideas can appear to be the most deep to people. I forget who said this, but the idea went along the lines of: “What is subtle remains unseen, what is in clear view appears subtle.” (At least in regard to readers).
I’ve sent the first few chapters to friends and family for feedback, and while some are happy to wait and see how the story develops, others are asking questions already. I’ve only given rather cryptic responses so far, but it boils down to this… of all the (main, at least) characters you’ve seen so far, the only one who is exactly as they seem is the protagonist.
Now I just hope my writing lives up to that cryptic hype haha.
Stark for sure
I’ve noticed increased flow state and skill acquisition from RoM alongside a host of other benefits. Could be a solid addition to your stack for your goal.
The Revelation series seems nice, but it’s a bit too spiritual for me. I’m not far enough in my journey to be able to properly appreciate them.
My thought would be to run different subs during the different phases of your process depending on what you need most.
Right now, while your main focus may be on crafting and shaping your writing, I think that programs that promote imagination, faith in creativity, determination, and skill in narrative construction would be great.
I’d think things like Ultimate Writer, Love Bomb for Humanity, Revelation of Mind, Revelation of Spirit, Limitless/Quantum Limitless, Emperor Black.
Later when you’re handling marketing and selling I’d bring in other programs.
True Sell, Mogul, Emperor, House of Medici, and so on.
I think I understand. I’ll make a 7 core custom and run it on loop as I write. Thank you @Malkuth
This is a joke, right?
Definitely sounds like one.
Yes, I think we’re all past the experimentation phase on the forum…hopefully.
Once the book is written, you have to promote and sell it. Mogul and True Sell is what you need. No need to start running big subs like Emperor or EOG for the sole purpose of marketing a book.
Thank you, it feels good to be back on the forum.
I added True Sell to my stack for now and opened a journal to keep track of the day to day changes.
If one had the goal of using their book to attain large amounts of wealth would you make a similar recommendation?
What are you planning to write btw?
Yep!
However, after the book project is done, I would free a spot in my stack for EOG and stick to it for a year. Mogul is a great preparation for EOG.
Mogul is a “make money fast” sub. EOG is a sub that prepares your mind for massive amounts of money, overtime. As far as I’m concerned, the absolute massive wealth combination is HoM + EOG. But that’s not something you rush into. It’s a stack you get to gradually.
Mogul => EOG => HoM seems to be the logical wealth progression to me.
