Philosophy and Strategy of Running Multi Level Titles

I am running my first 4 part title, Dragon Reborn.

I am curious for people who have had success with these types of titles, what has been your strategy for listening?

At this point I am figuring one month on St1, St2 and St3 and then letting St4 play by itself for several months.

How have you done it?

yes - exactly that

some do it longer, I think it’s not necessary - healing can last your whole life, 1 month or 1.5 dont make a diff to me, I rather run it just a bit and get to the real thing

I did more than 30 days for St1, and a bit more than 30 days for St2. Then I got impatient and skipped to St4.

However, just because I did it doesn’t mean you should.

Right.

Originally I had planned to do 2 months of ST1 and then 1 month each for ST2 and 3. Lately I have been thinking of just doing a month for each of the first three, getting to St4 and then letting ST4 play for multiple months while also doing at least one run a day of Dragon Reborn Ultima.

I would consider such a plan myself. I’m planning on running DR Ultima 3 times a week starting some time in March.

What I wrote will almost certainly be my plan and I will not mix in any other titles, so I can maximize the effects of Dragon Reborn.

I think I’m going to change to the 1 month plan too. I already did 3 days of ST 2 on accident so I might as well move on.

I would recommend 2 months each of the first 3 stages. Some real magic happens on the second month but 3 months is not necessary.

…hmm…okay…but do you think more on the first three levels is better than getting to ST4 more quickly and then running it for multiple months?

Thanks @Azriel. I have been struggling to figure out a plan. I trust your judgment, so I will 2 months for the first three stages.

Would you recommend 2 months of stage 4 or just run the Dragon Ultima 1 loop a day semi-long term?

Yes definitely, it’s the different between running a custom with 4 cores and the same core as it’s own program. The life experience and depth that get’s address through focus on each stage at a time doesn’t directly translate over in my opinion. That said I think there will be immeasurable benefits to running DR stage 4 longer term as well.

I’ve just found 2 month is enough to get deep but still move with relative velocity.

I don’t know about stage 4 yet, I would say minimum 2 months to fully solidify, but it’s effects may be very synergistic with other subs so it may be good to run longer alongside them.

It can help to have a personal metrics-even if they are subjective assessments-like I don’t feel insecure about this anymore. Or I feel comfortable acting on my interests. Or am consistently present to my passions and what I want in life more often than not etc. to know when you feel you’ve achieved a main goal of the program.

Thanks @Azriel. I think I will go 2 months for all four stages. Then, I will run the Dragon Ultima 1 loop per day as a refresher as long as it helps with everything else that I am running.

Dunno, I got pretty deep a month on each stage of khan back when I was doing solo and still the same - and I look at the last stage as the main thing; running the last stage when ready can give all you’d get from that stage on its own - not sure what you experienced, I know some things cannot be easily put into words so fine - just in my opinion, 1 month is enough

enjoying - all the best dorf

I can’t speak to Khan personally, I would run 1 stage on Khan as well. DR is more wide and it’s pure healing, which I would allot more time for personally.

Feeling kind of up in the air about what strategy to follow.

You can’t go wrong, 2 month each stage your doing extra deep work, 1 month each stage would be sufficient to get to stage 4. It’s just a matter of do you want to do a bit deeper work per stage before getting to stage 4 or not. I think there is an advantage to this, some others don’t.

Part of why I wanted to get to ST4 was to be able to start running Dragon Reborn Ultima.

I wonder how it might change the effects to run a cycle of all 4 for one month each, start running Dragon Reborn Ultima and then cycle back into one month of each of the levels again.

@Azriel What was your loop count on each stage? Did you change the count during a stage, like from month 1 to month 2?

I started light, then went up to 5 loops a day. I didn’t like that, so went back down to 2.
