Any body have recommendations for subs that have helped them feel less tired all the time? Lately it feels like I am just never rested, and I’m basically tired from the time I wake up until I go to bed.
My first thought goes to KB, but open to other recommendations.
Check your health analyses. Most probably you are short of hormones, vitamins or minerals in your body. Perhaps you’re having an iron and hemoglobin shortage.
Good call, going to get blood work done just to be on the safe side. Also, have picked up a habit of smoking/doing edibles (live where it’s legal) before bed to wind down. Wondering if that is effecting my sleep as I’ve heard you don’t get full REM.
Hadn’t thought of Paragon Sleep, could be a good move as well.
Unlikely, I probably have the cleanest diet out of anybody I know personally, workout 5 times per week on top of hitting 8-10K steps per day, sleep could be improved but I typically get 7 hours or more. Perhaps missing something micronutrient wise, but I’d be surprised if it was making that much of a difference.
Could be contributing - perhaps you are overtraining, tiring out your CNS, which can cause the symptoms you describe. Might be worth experimenting with 2-3 workouts a week and seeing how you feel after a couple week.
Going back to the blood test thing you say you have a clean diet however what does a blood test reveal that your body is missing ?. What I suggest is getting the following checked
I recommend to quit the edibles/smoking. Also make sure you hydrate as well if you decide to stick to it, but using it to wind down and sleep doesn’t really work. Your brain is slow mo the next day.
Here are my initial thoughts. I’d also want to know
.
When did this start, and was there anything correlated with it?
Are you in an area that gets cold?
Did anything change with nicotine consumption lately?
Are you excited/ feel good for the future you are living into?
Too much subs, washout, and reset
Not getting into arguments here, but weed/tch does havoc on your energy system
agree with blood work and ruling out physical issues
Emotional -chronic sedation can be an avoidance of anxiety and anger- is there something your fearing or avoiding being upset about?
You may need more recovery time from your workouts or NOT be eating enough, especially if your diet is clean.
My friend was like that, thought he had long covid, was tired all the time despite working out and eating well. He was in intense caloric deficit and starting eating fried potatoes and came back to life lol.
Definitely an effect, I’ve noticed the periods of my life I smoked I would always wake up with less energy and tired. Felt like I had less vigor.
But back to your point, it’s become proven that for some it will help you fall asleep but you don’t get good sleep.
Do you track your sleep with any device?
Are you hot when you sleep?
How close to the time you go to sleep have you last eaten?
Do you go to bed around the same time regularly?
What do you do the hour or two winding down before going to bed?
Honesty, thinking this could be the case as it’s something that started occurring over the past month. Did a lot of sub expierimenting last month trying to figure out my stack, and switched to doing mainly full loops. Also rarely washout more than 2-3 days lol.
Tons of good input here. Haven’t done a proper washout (more then 3 days in coming up on 3 months lol). Was pretty directionless the past couple months until starting my current position, so Definitely some emotional stress there on top of being way out of my sleep routine. Obviously the weed thing to.
Going to do a proper washout, quit smoking, and get back into my routine and see if things persist from there .
I think this has to be it. No need for blood tests or whatever. Just use common sense. Do a few rest days and then start with a few subs. If your sleep and daily energy level is fine then you can add more but if it’s not you need to cut loops. Just simple.
Maybe try instead of full loops fewer minutes etc.
One of those most simple things that I’ve started in the last month is walking. My goal was to get to an hour but that seems to require a little conditioning. But I know from 20-50 minutes a day of morning walking really gave me more energy and helped me feel better and get motivated.
I don’t think anyone mentioned it, but also action. Could it be that your not taking forward moving action toured the goals of the sub, that’s creating friction in the symptom of tiredness?
I could be totally off, you may be a driven action taker. Just figured I might mention it.
