We all know about real estate, forex and commodities trading, making Udemy courses that somehow people always seem to want, but what about this one?

A YouTube streamer that solves puzzles. Or a company that makes puzzles for escape rooms that gets commissions to make 20-30k USD puzzle boxes for Mr. YouTube streamer.

This playlist is him solving a series of puzzles with an entire storyline and each builds upon the previous ones. I have to say, I am impressed by the skill required to design and build these things. This is Arduino taken to a whole new level.

If you only want to watch one, make it the 4th one, the 25k one. Keep in mind it spoils a bit of the story if you later go back and watch the others.

Anybody else knows about ways to generate income which almost nobody would think existed? Who knows, it may just inspire people to think outside of the box (pun intended).

PS All these things were done during COVID too, that’s extra impressive.

900 million views x $1500 (rough average per mn) / 6 years = 225,000

About 4 times the US average. So good for him, he turned his interest into a nice little earner.

Can he expand? He is the face of his brand and already has 5.5mn subs so probably not unless he gets others behind the scenes to help with the ideas and he fronts the show but puts out more product. Don’t know if he does that already or even if he wants to.

Patreon or crowdsourcing with stretch goals, no idea as the puzzles and tricks are a bit of a one off.

And look how he has moved away from magic and onto puzzles about three years ago so I guess he knows his audience.

Can it be replicated? Only if you are already that way inclined or you are doing it purely as a presenter or you do the production for someone else. Or you use it as a front, ie advertising, for your real business.

One way of bumping up the revenue per mn is to do financial stuff but then you run the risk of the ads being from soft scammers like Greg Secker or even outright con men like Samuel Leeds.
