Okay, thank you. I really dislike making mistakes. If you think you see one, please tell me.
Update. New headset added to support article â the Nuraphone by Nura (certified for Solace ONLY at the moment).
Note: These headphones are very unique, as they use a patented and proprietary technology to map your inner ear and create a personalized listening profile. The software then shapes the sound to match what youâd find most appealing. The end result is that the Solace experimental masks sound phenomenal. We are still testing how ultrasonic subliminals are affected by the technology (though you can put the headset into âneutralâ mode and bypass the sound enhancements), and as such, these are certified for SOLACE ONLY right now.
@SaintSovereign How far are you guys looking to go with testing headphones? Is there a cutoff point? And if I can ask, whatâs the determining factor in increased results from subs? Separation, frequency response, dynamics, or is other factors?
Quality in audio has always been something Iâm looking to improve. I understand the impact it has on music on a subconscious level, but I donât know how that translates to human speech. Would be interesting to hear your thoughts whenever you have a second.
Support ticket please.
Hey @RVconsultant. Sorry was just some casual questions about audio related stuff. Wanted to pick his brain a bit, nothing urgent. Wasnât even sure if it was ok to post in this thread or not, itâs not always clear.
It could be those are very relevant and helpful questions. I stand by what I say. Please submit a support ticket. Those questions could prove very useful.
Hello brother I have the same model, I was listening to remote viewing some years ago on Bluetooth, but I think it was working better wired, have you found any references between ldac blootooth high quality vs wired?
This I wonder too, I have always used bluetooth. Have gotten changes but not sure how much bluetooth reduce the effectiveness.
https://www.soundguys.com did a lot of testing with BT codecs.
Itâs best to use wired, BT introduces extra processing including compression and frequency filtering, which differs for each codec, that may affect the subs.
I move around a lot during the day so prefer BT for convenience, but accept that the subs may be less effective than wired. Same with noise cancellation, the subs may be more effective without it but it improves my overall listening experience and I still get results, so for me itâs worth it. Youâll need to decide for yourself what your priorities are.
We tested wired vs. Bluetooth extensively and while I prefer wired as an audiophile, we discovered no real difference between the two in terms of results. We are still testing new headsets, however.
Also, as a fun aside, weâre getting support tickets of people asking if weâre REALLY testing these headsets. Weâve got boxes full of headsets, and since Iâm not really one to spend too much time proving things, I just dumped one on the floor and took a pic:
Many of these are the cheaper headsets that you can get at stores like Dollar General or Big Lots in the US (yes, we try to even optimize for these), but you can see the recommended AKGâs, the Airpods Pro, two pairs of Nuraphones (one pair is mine, the other is for other people to borrow and test), even the PS4 / PS5 premium headsets, haha. I think thereâs a pair of Sennheiser HD 280s in there, as well as the next certified pair of earbuds (was just about to add them to the list) â the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds (which support transparent mode).
Man you really need to show us a pic of your office
Lol, this isnât the office. This is actually my living room / media room. Which⌠is pretty cool too. That being said, weâre getting all new pics of the studio, office and research area soon.

The irony. It kills me
Good to hear that thereâs no real difference between bluetooth and wired.
Currently Iâm using Soundcore Liberty Pro Upgraded bluetooth earbuds because they use the LDAC codec, but I canât really tell the difference between them and my Samsung Galaxy earbuds.
Still prefer my ATH M20xâs though, which were recommended in another thread somewhere and are a third of the price of my BT earbuds.
Those headphones look super beast, like they were made for a true audiophile
Lol no pun intended
Yup they are
Oh boy some of those cheaper headsets are like listening though a tin can. I really respect the fact that youâre working on making these subs accessible for everyone and testing those as well.
