Interesting.
I realised that as long as I remember, I’ve used my sense of humor as a filter.
I’m extremely picky with who I spend time with. Of the friends who I still regularly spend time with, all of them seem to get it. The others I have dropped over the years.
Also on my team… There’s a big correlation with who seem to stay, or who I have fired. Not 100%, but still.
I have to pay attention to this, when hiring new people.
Or maybe I just am a self centered d*ckhead who fires the ones who don’t laugh at my bad jokes

This sounds like an empirical question.
Generate hypotheses, and then enter data.
Unfortunately, I cannot participate in this project.
I am occupied with emulating human behavior, and at least 50% of my capacity is directed at decoding this process you call humor.

Forum Ambassadors may contact you regarding changes to your profile(s).
As I have been inspecting, I’ve noticed most people have posted all their previous names.
Some have only posted one or a few of their previous names.
Some have yet to make the changes.
Since the deadline has passed, please make your changes now.
This new policy regarding tracking name changes is intended to help everyone know who is who and who has been who. With such continuity, it is easier to remember a person’s journey you may have found inspiring, or maintain an ongoing relationship with that person (or their journey).
This policy is NOT meant to punish or humiliate any one for any previous infraction or embarrassing remark. For example, you continue to treat others with respect, even if you had a conflict with them in the past and now suddenly realize who they are/were. Remember that the people who are here are here because they are in line with our Campfire Policy.
There are two objectives for each profile at this point:
1 Are all previous names posted in the profile?
2 Is the profile visible or private/hidden?
There may be more objectives as the inspections proceed.
Please make sure your profile is in order.

Mine is public, btw.
Also, it would perhaps be beneficial to do the checks with a new account, or one without moderator rights. That way you can see the profiles as a regular sees it.
