And happy completely-non-denominational-and-arbitrarily-chosen-days to you as well. The time when product consumption, popular entertainment and spirituality exist in complete harmony.
I personally love Christmas, whatever its origins. To me it simply represents warmth and a focus on each other (although Hallmark movies and higher electrical bills are part of it as well). I do always try to have somebody to celebrate it with (they should make a special site for people who just want to not be alone for Christmas, it’s not just lonely men).
It can be challenging for relationships at times. When you wake up and the first thing you see is a bra with mistletoe hanging off of it, are you still expected to kiss under the mistletoe? And later when she tells me “Go on, Santa, you know where to put it,” is she talking about her present? I mean, one mistake and you’re out and will have to wait 364 days until the Santa’s Helper outfit shows up again. Holiday relationships can be tricky indeed.
Since the others aren’t (yet) responding, I will have the audacity to wish everybody a wonderful closing of the year on behalf of everybody here in Saint’s secret maintain retreat. I would have done so sooner, but didn’t get the artwork done on time. So thank you for taking the initiative, BlackIce!
Everybody, do take this opportunity to set your goals and stacks for 2022 while reminding yourself of your accomplishments so far. No matter how great this year is, take the opportunity to make the next one even better.
