Masked or Ultrasonic - How to choose

Sorry if this has been already answered (probably). This is my first use of these subliminals working with the two available freebies. I have both ZP Masked and Ultrasonics, listening once per two days for three weeks. For optimum results, which should I use - the one type or the other - or some combination of the two?

I use ultrasonic mainly if I run them while working in my office/lab. So I’m not distracted by the mask while doing deep work.

Or sometimes if I’m alone, ultra while sleeping or meditating while in my Sanctuary.

Masked all other times. It all depends on what works best for you from one situation to the next.

Thank you!

I almost forgot ultrasonic exists.
It adds the risk of having the volume too low or too high. So I don’t bother with it.

It doesn’t matter what version you use. It’s just preference.

If you have tinnitus issues, I would recommend Masked. Ultrasonic usually gives me tinnitus so I avoid using it.

Plus, if you are using Ultrasonic, you need to follow certain precautions regarding its volume to get it right. Masked track not as much.

Other than that, both files have the exact same information. In the old days, ultrasonic was useful since the older versions of the subliminals were much longer and/or had to be run for a long duration (at one point running subs for 8 hours a day) for which ultrasonic was useful since it could be played on a speaker.

But now since we only need to run one loop of a 15 minute loop every other day, Masked makes more sense. And with some running microloops that is between 30 seconds to around 7 minutes), more people opt for Masked right now.

Sorry (not sorry) to hijack this thread, but do you guys know, if, when using headphones, does using just one suffice? Or do I need both?

One is good

Headphones for masked only

I misunderstood the question I think. I was thinking about one headphone side or both sides

That’s what I meant. When I’m using headphones and someone is speaking to me, usually I take one bud out and keep listening with the remaining one

Thanks for the link, but the question is, if this still applies after all the tech updates.
The thread is from 2019. Was this still Q age?
AFAIK the tech requirements decreased in the meantime. Meaning you can get better results with cheaper hardware.
Perhaps they had two different audio channels and now have only one? Or maybe the other way round?

@AnswerGroup Can you shed some light on the question if one earbud is enough, so if I talk to someone I can still continue listening with just one bud? Or is it still so, that it leads to clearly diminished results?

I can answer that one for sure then. Ultima (old tech) was the only one that requires headphones.

One ear or the other is ok. Speakers wouldn’t be effective if both ears needed to be involved.

Listening to masked over speakers is not optimal.
So listening with one ear should be also not optimal.

I’m using masked with speakers now and alternate between Sonos roam and my Samsung ultra phone. I actually feel my results are better this way than headphones.

I have not noticed dismissed results. It’s actually more encompassing for me.

I’m sure hearing the script in both ears and not just one helps, although according to support, it does not require stereo, and the input is the same on both channels.

Thats interesting.

I think maybe sometimes it’s too much what you hear with headphones compared to speakers. Perhaps this reduces the risk of overload and therefore also the risk of recon symptoms. This can then lead to better results. The same could probably be achieved by finding your sweet spot with headphones and not listening too much at the beginning.
At least that would explain to me why you see better results with speakers.

Or it could be because your mind is not located in your head

So, if micro-loops are still too much, one could try a one-ear micro-loop.

While standing on one foot and blinking continuous. I found the secret to zero recon.  :joy:
