Has anyone tried Love Bomb or Wanted Black with Primal?
Not yet. LB made me realize I need Primal, so I’m running it atm and am planning a LB + Primal custom for that.
I want to order soon, after some more consideration.
I’m doing new LB and new Primal and KB 4 at the moment. Had some recon last cycle. Noticing some positives and it’s been a smooth washout right now. Definitely having “processing” dreams and Primal themed dreams. For me since I hit recon around cycle 3, leads me to think things will start to pick up from here forward.
How do I upgrade from old primal to the new?
It’s automatically updated in your account.
@Fire thank you. I’m not sure I’m understanding if my version is the new one or not. Would you be able to explain when the update to primal was made so I know if my version is the old one
Just download the file. The file name should have the month of the release like Dec 2023 or somethin
Thanks
Another log:
Again, “full script” does not matter.
If you’re unable to bench 225 pounds, stop dreaming about benching 300 - and even that analogy falls apart, as everyone is very much different and will have different physiques from lifting the same weight.
If your sweet spot is at 30 seconds, 1 minute, 3 minutes, or 15 minutes - that is the correct answer for you. Not an arbitrary script length that doesn’t even apply due to how our technology works.
For sure, so it’s more of a sweet spot thing vs. “getting the whole script”.
Interesting. I’m still not sure of my sweet spot. Trying 1min with customs…
Are you increasing by 30 seconds each time? (Only if you’re not getting unmanageable recon that is). I actually found like 3 “sweet spots” so far with a Primal custom I have, spots where I have little to no recon and get good results.
No I probably should’ve started with 30sec
I’ve been running customs since spring
At 5min or 7min
And recently thought to go even less
The sweet spot changes as you get more exposure. So part of it is periodically increasing exposure time to stay calibrated to your sweet spot changing.
Here’s example: if you run 2 kilometers and you struggle to run it fully, you probably won’t try to run 3 kilometers, right? You will keep that 2 kilometers until you can do it easily, and then you will increase it to 3 kilometers.
If you can’t do a push up with full range of motion, start with partial reps first.
Go half way down only, then progressively get deeper in the next workouts. If half way is too hard, make it even shorter.
Full range of motion is better and offers more benefits, but if you can’t execute it properly, you won’t get as much compared to using shorter rom.
Of course you can do inclined push ups with full rom too instead of partial reps, but we don’t have an easier version of the subs, so that doesn’t fit the analogy.
There are also other ways to use partial rom to maximize your gains when you’re more advanced. microloop is not only for beginners.
Yeah, I’d start with 30 seconds if you’re getting recon.
Yes please
