They’ll evolve into the Divine Thief archetype and transition to stealing ignorance and suffering from the hearts and minds of all beings.

I’m just throwing questions here, but as much as I’m far from having even approached Samadhi, I wonder if Samadhi is not also part of the Maya and not another trap or misleading idea about the nature of reality, another joke from the Gods with some kind of ceiling to it to… ( I am also aware I “suffer” from some form of paranoia in a way… so I take my questions with a grain of salt.
Also a question for the more mathematical inclined minds… I wonder if there is meta-binary, by this I mean some form of trinary, quatrinary etc… in mathematics… been looking for a word like that in dictionaries but to no avail… so if someone can point me to some clues about that I would be glad.
Thanx

should be ‘ternary’ and ‘quaternary’

These terms are often not used precisely. Nor are their definitions and criteria agreed upon between traditions. So to have a really useful conversation about it, you’d need to first define how you’re using the terms.

Unless it’s just speaking intuitively and from the heart. But in that case, the conversation has a very different context. Less about clarification and more about sharing and connection.

When approaching that state and the precursive states, those fears of the ego-consciousness, the delusions that it creates to continue its narrative, will begin to disintegrate. The ego-consciousness is an intellectual, it’s born of trauma and prefers it as it’s mode of operation, it’ll continue projecting stronger as you resist. Best way is to let go into that state that we were before we got here and cultivate awareness upon what’s real and what’s not.

It’s not maya because you’re no longer picking up the maya fruits and candies that each chakra/ stage of life has to offer. For example one is no longer chasing the fruits of sex from chakra 1, or greed of money, and now are skipping through all what other chakras offer before one gains awareness and evolves into the next one. You’d see a lot of people saying that they wasted their youth chasing after this or that when they should’ve been doing something else with their precious time. It’s like you’re tapping out of the ego-matrix game

That’s what I know so far

I don’t know about the math thingy, but there probably is. It’s all numbers and symbols

First of all, thank you.
I am speaking from intuition. The Samadhi I heard of is one of void and something that can in a sense be compared to darkness and nothingness… At the same time being a state that is highly subjective and impossibly defined by words, symbols or senses.
If you can point me to lecture of different points of view I will be grateful.
If this needs to be placed in another topic, please do so… Admin.
I start my day now, so I won’t be available to repost.
Anyways, thanks to both.

Samadhi exists as a concept in the Vedic religions and traditions. Later Buddha dharma developed as a kind of almost post-modern critical response to the Vedic forms and strictures. It challenged and then revised the context and the goals of practice. But it retained the conceptual placeholder—and the experiential cultivation of—samadhi, in a general sense.

Look around for a while and you discover that not only are there many traditions and frameworks for defining and cultivating samadhi, there are also many different samadhis.

Here’s a simple place to start: Wikipedia

Do a quick Google search of “variations of samadhi”, “variants of samadhi”, or “types of samadhi”, and you’ll see that various sources or traditions refer to 2, 3, 6, 10, 15, etc., types of samadhi.

Many people learn of it first in the context of some form of Vedic or Hindu yogic practice. Others learn the term in the context of the Buddhist Eight fold Path, which has three branches: Sila, Samadhi, and Prajna.

I prefer to think of it as a broad category of consciousness states. Why? Because doing so allows me to include and accommodate a wider range of useful experiences and perspectives from a greater number of fellow explorers.

I also prefer to throw away the notion of ‘One Correct Answer’ or of ‘Ultimate Attainment’. I find that holding to such notions seems to correspond with paradigmatic myopia (I.e. tunnel-vision-like difficulty in acknowledging equally plausible alternative approaches).

It’s sometimes most effective to choose and stick with a way; but that doesn’t mean it’s the way.

Staying sensitive to language and thinking of that One True Way variety, has often helped me to steer clear of grandiose, manipulative individuals and situations.

(fingers crossed for continued luck)

Paradygmic myopia… Great!
Thanks for the answer. A lot.

regarding the samadhi just being part of maya/illusion:
When people talk about maya, they normally referring about the physical world. how its an illusion and smoke and mirrors. for example take money. money is an illusion we created. money isn’t a key ingredient in the universe. its just some teeny tiny speck of an idea that this planet thought of and everyone obeys it like the green paper is actually energy (in truth, prana is the real energy).
This whole idea of maya goes very deep. but you can’t just conceptually say “its all just an illusion” from the start. Because when you think that way, life/universe appears nihilistic and indifferent. therefore you don’t feel any unconditional love = no higher planes of existence = no true understanding.

regarding the “meta-binary” thing, i’m almost certain that you’re looking for sacred geometry. literally everything is sacred geometry. form the micro to macro, all organic life, and the universe itself. the flower of life workshop are a great series of videos to watch.

also why did you put “suffer” in quotes? only you can know if you’re suffering. same thing for falling in love, etc.

something I recently realized about sage is that even if I haven’t listened to it in my stack for a week, the effects (self-realization, calm rational thinking, seeing beyond what is seen like my muscles under my skin, etc.) are still there and get stronger with days, which leads me to believe that even 1 loop a week is plenty

My understanding is that Maya happens when consciousness identifies itself with some object/energy within consciousness and that creates an illusion that there is me here and the world out there, when in fact both are the same consciousness.

It’d be great to have a sub that focuses solely on dissolving all identifications and returning to the state of non-separation.

Hey man, any chance for an EMP-Sage review?

Sure.

When it comes to info about spirituality, there’s no shortage of it. I’m getting so much of it, it’ll take months to properly sort through it and master. Whenever I find myself lacking in something, it doesn’t even take days for the info to present itself. It’s as if I’m drawn to it like a beacon.

I can’t properly describe the calmness, but let’s just say very few things get to me and the ones that do I handle them appropriately… calmly, like I’ll see myself about to get worked up, then immediately chill. Then handle the situation.

Whatever is standing in my way of spirituality, Sage makes it bluntly obvious and helps me work through it, and lately there’s been a lot from drinking(which I’ve severely limited), negative energies… I’ll sense when something bad is about to happen and I’ll take preventative measures etc.

Visualizing is very easy, especially with my eyes open. I’m still learning to do it with my eyes closed. And silencing my mind is becoming second nature to me which is something that’s been a huge block in advancing spiritually.

One thing I’ve noticed, I don’t know how but my chi grows by the day whether I mediated or not… not as much as it should when I’ve skipped a day.

When doing my meditations, I’ve noticed that I’m learning things at a master faster rate than normal, it feels like I’m accessing my past lives.

Also seeing a world in a different way and currently thinking about ways to combine magick and science which would vastly improve the world… From the day to day tech we use, transportation… deep sea and space exploration included. Ending world hunger by not only providing fish but also teaching how to fish. Sage amplified the humanitarian part in me. I also have Stark to thank for that.

The past couple of weeks I’ve been having dreams that seem like I’m living a second life when I sleep and the past few days I’m simultaneously seeing things from 2 different people, I’m aware they’re not me but at the same I feel what they’re feeling… here’s the weird part about it, they’re living my life. These dreams have meaning which I haven’t yet been able to decipher… I’m optimistic they will make sense in the near future.
