Main Disc. Thread - Renaissance Man: Vibes (Now Available!)

Maybe we can broaden it a bit?

Personally speaking I am kinda more interested in the path of creation, how other artists transmute feelings, memories, experiences into art, setups and the personal philosophies of art than the actual works.

Maybe fitting threads like the Art Exhibition and writer’s threads could move there.

On RM: Vibes (St. 2):

(It's part of A Very Special Sauce v3)
  1. Daredevil Core
  2. Renaissance Man: Vibes Stage 2 Core
  3. Primal Nights Core
  4. New Auric Experience Core
  5. Synergy: Primordial Aura
  6. Synergy: Inescapable Gaze
  7. Song of Joy
  8. Dragon Tongue
  9. Symphony of the Glyphs
  10. Deep State
  11. One Scent
  12. Faith Unyielding

I don’t use it for its main intended purpose, though I begin to enjoy singing around the speech and breath training quite a bit.

Can’t recommend it highly enough for anyone speaking in public, presenting on Youtube or has to be ā€œclipableā€ (e. g. in politics).

Every spoken sentence has a melody,
most are just incredibly dull.

Vibes helps very much to correct that. Diction gotten much better. Absolute golden combination with Daredevil and Primordial Aura. I’m making good progress with hypnotic storytelling.

The maybe most important result so far is the joy & intensity of listening though. Music for me always was like an emotional raft I hop on and drift wherever it may carry. With Vibes these journeys got much further.

After a couple of rather rough emotional days I put on Le PoĆØme Harmonique and on reaching La Blanche Biche tears began to flow and didn’t stop until the sorrow was washed away.

I have some very specific goals that are generally tied to short term practice of techniques but my mid- to long-term goals are: develop better rhythm guitar playing in a rock music context; make more creative use of scales and chordshapes with rhythm guitar (I’m not playing the lead); be able to consitently sing in tune without having to check with the keyboard; emerge from a background singer to someone who can sing the main voice; learn the fiddle techniques to be able to play tradtitional Irish and Scottish music (on my violin which I’m playing in a classical orchestra); extend my playing to the cello.

Question:

@answergroup

Would stacking Stage 1 / 2 / 3 with ASBR

Lead to similar results as stacking Stage 1 / 2 / 3 with Stage 4?

Decided: I’m saving money to set up my own home studio. Will purchase RM:V soon.

Finished the second cycle of my RM:V custom (st1+2). Not a lot to report. Especially the productivity did not rise as much as I was used to from my prior UA custom. I had more productivity linked modules in there, so I’m not much surprised by this.

One positive thing I did recognize today though, unintended but doubtless a result of RM:V: my whisteling has become better. This morning I was easily able to whistle along with a song that was playing on Spotify. I did this totally unaware, without even thinking about whisteling. Only afterwards, as my daughter who was here for a visit, looked astonished at me, I realized that I was pretty much in tune.

Good! What about creativity? Ideas popping up in head?

Anyone interested in collaborating on a song I’m composing in the last two days? What I’ve composed now sounds like rock, but I’m very open to a multi-genre concept, especially rap, hip-hop and electronic.

You can PM me for details.

Nothing that I could discern so far. At the moment I’m actually working more on my technique than creative aspects, so this could be the reason why it might simmer in the background.

Why not just use stage 4? It’s pretty much ASBR geared toward musicians, and it’s written to link into the other stages directly.

Asking because a single custom works best with the 3 stages.

I was thinking of making a custom with the first 3 stages of Vibes once I finish running the first 3.

Then stack it with an ASBR custom which has EoG and Limitless too

What do you think?

That’s… going to be one hefty custom. If you can handle the input, you’ll be fine and it’ll work well.

I know. The thing is, somehow when I just keep taking action - everything is good.

To those who ran Stage 4: did you notice more musicality in your lives from external sources, maybe live bands in the streets, people singing, humming or vibing? Any hootnannies, jamboree or maybe invited to a hoedown, perhaps a shinding, a shebang, or any shenanigans?

So has anyone hit the top 40 charts with their music yet or are subliminals just placebo?

@ouroboros It ain’t no placebo bro, especially in the songwriting department.

@SaintSovereign would there be any potential use case for this for people looking to get into the music industry, but not for musicians. For example, putting on music festivals, events, etc?

The fourth stage could work for this. It’s A Stark Black Reality rewritten for the music industry.

three days ago,I ran one loop RMVst2 and one loop Rom…today ,I went to my weekly singing class…my teacher said that my voice quality is really good…especially when I hit the high note (A4)it is really clear……hiting that note and staying stable and smooth had been a problem for a long time….I am a baritone…to sing that high and have good quality was a real challenge……now,I could see that it is only a psychological limit that I put on myself…….so later on ,I sang a rock song….my teacher said that from a Chinese PopSong standard point,it is alright….but it is not rock and roll ……it lacks the spirit….my performance is not emotionally stimulating……he went on explaining it….I guess I know what he meant…but I dont know if I could exhibit those emotional influence when I sing….I read the sale copy again…it said there are scripting for that purpose…but how do I activate that
part ? :grinning: @SaintSovereign

You have to find an emotional connection to what you’re singing. Use your interpretation of the song and connect it to a past experience and then express as you sing from that place.
