I’m sure there is a lot of protection written into the script. I have had a few experiences with APX, even before using it. If you listen to the Gateway Tapes by the Monroe Institute, they teach you how to make a resonant energy balloon which is a protection tool.
When I have had OBEs, I have come into contact with beings. I think knowing that your soul is immortal is more than enough to protect you. Here is a story about an experience I had to drive home that point.
One time during an OBE, I was in a bar. I went up to the bartender and asked if he could send me somewhere else. He smiled and said yes. I was then in another environment. Looked like it was somewhere near the coast, likely in Greece (the architecture in the experience makes me think it was Greece); it was also dark, felt sad, and was foggy.
All of a sudden, I felt anger and some kind of monster came walking up. It expressed to me that I was not supposed to be there and wanted me gone. He charged at me, hit me, and I got launched back, but I thought, well, I’m a soul this thing can’t hurt me. The creature could read my thoughts and told me I needed to go NOW! I then woke up. After that, I haven’t been afraid of beings I’ve seen.
