I can be your guinea pig. I love sacrificing my ego to divinity haha.
Now imagine Ramadan all year round, except you can eat at normal times of the day.
Most forms of IF, including OMAD and Ramadan (which is in my limited understanding IF with religious mindfulness attached and no water during the fasting part), will “teach” the body to switch more rapidly between sugar and fat burning, what is called metabolic flexibility.
When you first start out you’ll become sluggish and full of headaches whenever it switches to fat burning, but after a while you won’t even notice the switch anymore and your muscles will start storing whatever they need to continue operating at peak efficiency. I spoke to a marathon runner doing OMAD who can switch over to fat burning halfway through a run without missing a step. They hooked him up to all kinds of devices to verify.
As far as bulking up goes, it will improve body composition. So you will likely still lose body fat but also still gain muscles. Maybe not as fast as when you eat 6 meals a day at the exact right time based on your fitness schedule, but who has the time to do that anymore. And only once your body has adapted. At the beginning you may lose both fat and muscle a bit.
So if by bulking up you mean gaining muscles, that will work with all forms of IF. If you also want to gain some fat like some people on the forum, that probably won’t happen. It’s very hard to eat enough for that, on OMAD you’ll likely feel full before you can hit those amounts of calories. Unless you eat really fast, which you definitely should not do.
OMAD is IF, also known as 23:1
I never had time for breakfast, I liked sleeping in too much.
Decades of practice, I know how to avoid the headache. Depending on how late I stay up afterwards, it only causes tiredness.
Hmmmm
It’s worth trying out tbh
Instead of trying so hard to keep my appetite up with subs, I can just use all the hunger at once
I actually am in desperate need to break the weight gain plateau, as I am getting bigger (evident with measurements and people’s comments) but my weight has been stuck at 72kg for over a month now (I fluctuate from 71.8 to 72.8), So I think I should try this till the end of the year and see how it goes
Had submitted a ticket for this a couple of days back. Am sure they will correctly categorize those 3 titles into the Preview tag.
What I meant there was how people end up with too many unrealistic expectations, which lead to disappointments and switching subs, like I don’t want to drop any names or attack anyone, but there have been certain individuals who just keep hopping from one sub to another just because it didn’t give them the results in a day or 2 of listening, which also leads to recon, but yes, it’s also more “conscious” disappointment than “subconscious” recon.
Hunger goes away too once the adaptation sets in, sorry.
In my experience the different forms of fasting can definitely help with weight plateaus. But if you are getting bigger, why get hung up on the weight? Do you need to be in a specific weight class for sports?
Hahaha. Yes. Ramadan is more like Time Restricted Feasting, than Fasting.
Vast majority of muslims gain weight during the holy month.
Doesn’t that mean you’re gaining muscle while getting leaner – in terms of Fat Percentage?
Why is this a problem? You want to compete in a higher weight class?
honestly, I’d say it’s the same reason girls on Instagram tend to want more likes/followers even if they have “enough”, its more of a me issue as I really want to be 80kg at 8% bodyfat
To be at that number naturally, you’d probably need to be over 6 feet tall. I think.
Kind of depends on the region of origin I believe. Officially you have to be very conscious of what you eat during the fast if I’m not mistaken, but I’ve seen cultures that really stick to their Date fruits and other minimally processed stuff and they eat it mindfully as well (slowly and gratefully, savoring it), but I’ve also seen cultures where they do a free-for-all when the sun is not watching.
In the end I think it’s mostly the fact that it is only one month a year and they look at it differently than a “normal” fast. So they give in to the Ghrelin when it wants to be fed and can compensate for the fast by eating more. And I suppose ending it with something called the Sugar Feast might also lead to certain dietary choices promoting weight gain.
As a fast, apart from the forced abstention of water, Ramadan is pretty solid and can have good health benefits. Other religions used to have fasting as well, but very few still do. In my opinion an annual fast is something everybody should do, whatever their beliefs.
That is a hard one, takes quite a bit of muscles to get there. The most annoying side-effect being that you simply can’t buy anything off the rack at clothing stores anymore.
Seriously, why do you think most muscle-bound guys have a habit of wearing tight-fitting t-shirts? Not just to show off, but also because everything else needs a tailor.
Also keep in mind that maintaining under 10% usually means you have to give up nice things. Most natural bodybuilders only have a six-pack during competition season and about 12% the rest of the year.
But to avoid being accused of going off-topic, I’m curious about the ZP future of Emperor Fitness. We’ve got a multi-stage that may get an ultima-style Stage 4 treatment if they need to rewrite the whole thing anyway, as well as two accompanying ultimas if I’m not mistaken.
Having a sports-ZP to go with all those good intentions to be in shape before the summer would be nice.
Speaking of, is there a ZP future of Ultima, or will ZP be the best of Q and Ultima combined?
SaintSovereign did say that Ultimas will be converted to ZP. And the ultrasonic element in it will be removed.
More like in the rewriting of Ultimas into ZP, it will be better.
Also, ZP titles (whether formerly Q or Ultimas) can be interchangeably used as either Booster or Major Program.
But am wondering whether you are asking this or meant something else?
In this case I was asking because I genuinely didn’t know any better than that Saint was still thinking about the future of Ultima ZP. What else could I have meant?
I suppose I could be hinting at something, like writing “What is Project 3301? Does anybody know? Does it even exist?”
But I didn’t do that, so forget you ever saw the above line.
It would change up the customs if there’s only ZP. Would that also change the minimum and maximum amount of modules? Or would we get ZPT and ZPT² (which does sound a lot like NZT doesn’t it?)
@DarkPhilosopher why dont you setup a youtube channel. We will register as your followers. You can talk about subliminal products and your life.
You are an inspiration to 1000s here.
He hasn’t read the part where I tell him he has “outie” reconciliation yet.
Thanks, I appreciate the compliment. I have considered it actually.
Haha! Man, you make me chuckle.
I think it is still maximum 6 and 20 for Ultimas and Q style customs. Maybe when Fire rewrites the Q Store there will be some new updates on this.
I think Terminus/Terminus Square will be removed. Am trying to remember where SaintSovereign said this. Or whether he ever said this
Yes, but when there’s only ZP style customs, will it be 6, 20 or something else like 10?
As for Terminus, I think it would be removed. If ZP is as powerful as it is at 15 minutes, it would become Terminal if you gave it that boost.
Maybe he hasn’t said it yet and you’re having another ZP side-effect.
at least 75kg at 10% would be nice for a start
which is why the day EF ZP is out (or HERO, depending on its goals) im switching spartan out instantly.
I’m not satisfied with just a “model-ish” type of body, and I have a feeling that future physical tech ZP subs will help with that goal.
from what I have been experiencing on WZP + Spartan ZP (i should really start calling it SZP ), it’s pretty good at helping you achieve a physique that makes people turn their heads around (unless you’re in an oversized hoodie).
but Invictus the whole public to turn around when he enters the room
Chosen + Limitless is a cracking combination.
Limitless - Most important benefit from this is everything seems more interesting and engaging, so I’m able to tackle any task with genuine enthusiasm rather than force myself to do it. Effortlessly achieving a flow state resulting in a major increase in productivity at work. Noticeably faster learning and an increased clarity of mind. This is the the first time I’ve run any flavor of Limitless (I have run QL though), and it’s been absolutely fantastic.
Chosen - Effortlessly taking charge of situations, and improved tactical planning. Improved strategic vision (this might actually be from Limitless) and a willingness to work hard to make it happen. Increased ambition (or rather, removal of limitations that prevented that ambition). Executive management frequently looking to me for my opinions.
The combination has me enthusiastically taking charge of projects targeting innovation that have high visibility to the Board and potentially major effects on the business.
I’m also running Regeneration (mostly out of curiosity), but the only effect I’ve noticed from that is it seems to make Chosen and Limitless smoother to run. I’m going to trying running 2 loops of it alone tomorrow to get a better handle on its effects, but I’m considering replacing it.
