Not sure if this has been answered before, or if this question is to early to answer… but are there any titles that are definitively not able to be scripted in the Zero Point format?

I know early on when Saint disclosed ZP to the forum he mentioned that some titles would not translate well to ZP, curious if that’s the case still.

They made a framework so it’s much easier to covert titles.

Last night, we finished a “framework” for how we can standardize each ZP script, which means it’ll be much easier for us to write new titles and convert the existing ones. For those asking, you will not have to repurchase Zero Point major titles. If and when we upgrade the major title store, ZP will be a FREE UPGRADE, as always.

I’d imagine that Sage will be in the preview. It’s the only title with Q+ scripting that I’m aware of.

Yeah Dreams will be converted eventually. They have thousands and thousands of pages of script to covert.

The fact of the matter is, “just release it” isn’t feasible. Just release what? As we’ve stated, if ZP becomes the production build, every single title needs to be rewritten from scratch, including all modules on the Q store. That’s thousands and thousands of pages, plus unlike Qv2’s scripting base, we haven’t mastered the ZP scripting method yet. We still have more ideas to test that COULD make it better. With the Q line, we’ve already developed that to a point where improving the script has a definite, static path. ZP, the possibilities are endless because we’ve just started. The ZP and ZPPF tests are essentially MVPs / proof-of-concept. Converting everything now means we’ll have another breakthrough soon, and would have to rewrite everything AGAIN.

Sage is my only non-custom major that is in my stack right now, so I’d be very willing to use SQZP in my stack.

We have strived to avoid creating classes of customers (advanced and beginner, haves and have-nots), but to protect this entire industry, we have no problem walling ZP off if people can’t use the products properly.

“walling ZP off” - Does this mean you’re considering keeping both Qv2(+) and QZP product lines?
