This is something I thought about. Being your own biggest cheerleader and persuading yourself is super powerful. This alone could equal greater manifestations since you’d hype yourself up and affirm a better reality
320 kbps should make a substantial difference.
From what little I know about audio .wav is a pure waveform and of the purest quality, while flac is purest of compressed files
.wav is an option, but the files are like 600+ mb. If we went this route, it’d be a $99 upsell, plus we could only store it on our side for about 30 days. Y’all interested in that?
can we pls first get some data how much of a difference flac makes in real life experience?
That’s why I released the experimentals. Go forth and test.
Go forth and create!
i don’t have enough experience with any of the three titles to make a judgment. That’s why I am waiting for you
What title do you have enough experience with?
my wanted khan custom ;p
This could be revolutionary for a very specific sub I have in mind
Though I’m a bit confused as to why you didn’t feel like testing mind’s eye in flac, because that one’s pretty powerful already, would have been interesting.
Can you imagine a Mind’s Eye in T2 in flac lol
As much as I would love to try that, I know for a fact that it would be the most overkill sub ever made
@SaintSovereign how about it ?
Ascension
LOL
Why not spit one out in .Wav
And I’ll let you know the following —
Cyclops ZP

From what little I know about audio .wav is a pure waveform and of the purest quality, while flac is purest of compressed files
Flac (Free Lossless Audit Codec) uses lossless compression, so it contains the exact same amount of information as the wav, only smaller. The different compression levels in flac just affect encoding/decoding time, they don’t remove data.
So I’m not sure why anyone would actually want wav over flac, since the audio data would be identical? Unless their hardware doesn’t support it, in which case you can do a lossless decompression anyway, and not lose anything at all in the conversion.
You forgot to announce Ascension Chamber in FLAC as being available too!
Really excited for this one, bummed I already ran my loop this week, but excited for Sunday when I’ll get to try out the lossless version!
P.S. to everyone who thinks this won’t work with bluetooth, you are right, but kind of still wrong. If you have an iPhone and AirPods, they use AirPlay which supports lossless streaming!
Ahh I’m not an expert, I knew a little bit about it so thank you for sharing
@bujin What do you mean by “smaller”?
I always use Bluetooth speakers, so I’m assuming 320kbps is all I really need.
