Phobias e. a. are rooted in the subconscious and are linked to the survival instinct.
I absolutely agree with the negative statement part. The subconscious doesn’t get negation.

you can’t eliminate the fear completely and you probably don’t want to. Maybe you could try something like Dragon Reborn - Limit Destroyer or some sub related to healing limiting beliefs and traumas
Exactly, It’s the subconscious that fears change…
When we try to push ourselves out of subconscious autopilot, we face resistance from our mind and body. Homeostatic impulse
that’s where scripting comes handy
as I stated above it can do miracles when it comes to the part of you that deeply fears the change. Whenever you feel your ego trying to make up a reason to quit because it fears the change, you turn it around and script in your head or out loud about all the positive things that the change brings to you and reassure yourself that things will go better than you probably even think they could.
But that’s scripting and that helped me personally. You’ll get results even without it tbh. This is only advice if you want to speed things up.
Just a random analogy that came to mind from this newbie.
It’s like subs are planting seeds and creating change under the surface of the soil.
Our conscious mind and focus is like the surface of the ground.
When we are focused/fixated within our negativity and blockages, it is like we are putting attention on an area of the ground filled with tight packed rocks.
When we script/affirm/take action, it’s like we are taking a trowel and clearing away some rocks, loosening up the soil.
And then the planted seeds have a pathway to more easily grow to the surface and start soaking up some sunlight.
Like the subs are working underground, but there are things we can do to help those seeds sprout.
I don’t think the subconscious fears change. IMO the subconscious has a comprehensive situational, “reality” awareness and input (subliminal, hypnosis, but also differing philosophy, trauma, etc.) with a differing message challenges its reality perception. This dissonance is IMO (at least part of) recon.
definitely!!!
I’ll give a bit more context
“The homeostatic impulse regulates our physiological functions from breathing to body temperature to heartbeat. And it all happens at the subconscious level, meaning that we do not actively initiate any of them; they are automatic. The goal of the homeostatic impulse is to create balance in the mind and body. When there’s dysregulation, the imbalances can be problematic and even self-betraying.
The subconscious mind loves existing in a comfort zone. The safest place, it turns out, is one you’ve been before because you can predict the familiar outcome. Habits, or behaviors that we repeatedly return to, become the subconscious’s default mode. Our brain actually prefers to spend most of its time coasting on autopilot—it is best able to conserve its energy by knowing what to expect. This is why our habits and routines feel so comforting and why it’s so unsettling and even exhausting when our routines are disrupted. The trouble is, following our conditioned routine keeps us stuck in that routine.”
from Dr. Nicole LePera. “How to Do the Work”
we’ll be it part of the subconscious or something separate in our mind… part of us does fear the change. That’s the part of your mind that makes up all kinds of scary scenarios about things that could make your life amazing. It will give you any and all reasons on how it could go wrong just to keep you away from change because change is unknown and unknown can be possibly dangerous. Even if the change is welcomed like getting a great partner, this part of your mind can’t tell the difference between welcomed and unwelcomed changes. All changes = danger to it. That’s why you get to soothe that part of your mind but reassuring it of all the positives that will come from the change and telling it that it is safe. You can’t make those voices go away. They will always be around but you can shut them up by imagining the good things that come from the change and embrace that positive emotion instead whenever you’d feel bothered or even scared ( your mind can’t think of two things at once )
Yes. I agree.
The situational, reality awareness of the surrounding and how your personal world works is integral part of the subconscious’ survival goal. The fear we feel (or push for displacement) is the signal from the subconscious, that something is threatening this basic structure.
That’s why IMO SC works so much better than other subliminals. Instead of brute forcing new messages onto the user, main goal is to convince the subconscious that it is no change at all, but everything is already there.
So I create this advanced graphic to explore my thoughts.
The green circles being the subs, working down in the subconscious.
The red circles being subconscious traumas we carry.
The green ground is where we’ve consciously taken action, scripted, done things in line with the sub goals.
The red ground is where we’ve not done these things.
IDK. I should probably go do some work.
hahahhahahahahaa we should show this to every newbie just to confuse them but also explain it all
You’re genius
So in the classical iceberg example it’s like the tip of the iceberg trying to change the massive part under the water surface… that seems A LOT of work
no the ego ( in this case I mean the part of your mind that fears the change ) is only a small portion of your mind. The subconscious is huge and also very moldable. It’s very unexplored so we don’t actually know much about it and it’s not all just one thing. Im not even sure if this “fear of change” that we all have would be classified as part of the subconscious or something separate. One author called it “the ego” so you can understand it can get confusing when everyone uses these terms but means different things.
This is why I find meditation and pranayama so useful. It’s a way to gradually dissolve a lot of old crap and bathe it in warmth/compassion, without consciously grappling/fighting/redirecting with everything at a thought-by-thought level all the time. Although conscious direction has its place, I know I can also meditate and that ‘good things are happening’.
Though this line of practice ties in with a philosophy around the energy body, nadis, samskaras, etc. so I’ll abstain from getting too woo-woo on the forum. But in my experience, it is all inter-related.
That’s exactly my approach. Seems much more efficient to me
Yeah but you try to “beat” the mind using the mind… the one creating the problem is trying to solve it…
Cool!
I’ll usually do some scripting/affirming at night while in bed.
I could be struggling with recon all day. The meditation I do during the day helps to unwind some of the old baggage, but it is a gradual process and I may not feel better during any given session. But when I affirm at night, it’s like I’m bringing the conscious and subs into alignment that allows them to grow a bit more overnight.
Anyway, I don’t want to distract from the topic of KHAN BLACK too much, so I’ll bow out now. This is all fascinating though.
This is how I understand the mind but take it with a grain of salt unga bunga
edit ; I forgot this is Khan black thread sorry guys for this clutter of talks
Mine was better
Seriously, great representation.
