So there you have your answer already.
You don’t need either for work.
Both can make certain aspects of your work easier, with SB probably being more an allrounder than IG.
You only have to choose between your passion and work. What is more in need of an upgrade?
I have prioritized health over anything else my friend. Hence me listening to my SpartanApex-LOTS-Khan Black custom.
With the RAIKOV module, do we connect subconsciously with the designer of the programs?
Just found this video on IG
It has a lot of resources for free learning stuff, including Ivy universities courses.
Some even offer free certificates.
Might be interesting for some here since I saw hacking and coding among the topics.
@James thought of you, once you’re back on track after your surgery.
Very cool . Thank you
I am very grateful for today
I like this place https://roadmap.sh/
Especially the frontend section and then beginner version. Just follow the advice there and make projects for every node. Just do it! Upload to GitHub and go for it, share your effort with the world.
(Self-advice)
If you’re that curious, you can see the reasons outlined in the profiles.
Now let’s keep on topic - Index Gate.
How are the verbal communication skills in this version?.
Well, I don’t know about the AI capabilities, but I have run it and I got this creepy indication of artificial sentience from Gemini
It’s great. I woke up to a text from a friend offering to introduce me to investors and get my pitch deck up to par for my saas.
I sent him a link a few weeks ago and he finally had time to check it out.
I haven’t run the updated IG except once so far. Waiting until closer to when I’m going to start coding again probably after my eye surgery late this month
Hope all goes well with your surgery
Its time for the boxing scientist to add this to his stack @James @Seneca @emperor_obewan lets ride this wave together.
Have you noticed any enhancements to abstract thinking and / or higher mathematics? All feedback from everyone is welcome, but Obewan has already expressed a high degree of abstract thought, so we’re trying to see if those who already possesses this ability notices an increase from use.
This is hard to quantify. There are some signs I could mention, without referencing projects directly, but my primary focus in the last week has not been code. Perhaps more in the realm of abstract thinking than higher mathematics, and definitely a change in my approach to AI (although not a major shift).
I’ve also had computer problems in the last week, so the time I have spent looking at code has been hampered. I did eventually discover why emacs was glitching out: rust-analyzer goes into an unexpected loop when the drive it is reading from temporarily disconnects, and then seems to never recover until the processes are killed. I was able to hunt this problem down, although at first my natural inclination was anger and resignation. Seeing the causal relationship between the drive glitching and the eventual effect I guess could be considered abstract thought, because I didn’t have to see any diagnostics to eventually figure this out.
In trying to finish the code to the fauxgl conversion just to prove I could do it, I did hit upon a rather unique solution there to the inefficiency of the library author’s design: at first I thought - directly manipulate the variable behind the mutable reference rather than returning a new struct for every iteration of the loop. Then I realized - this misses the point that a fragment shader is interpolating the color and it wont do to overwrite the vertex color, I should pass in a second mutable reference to return the answer, it still saves on in memory copying and I can re-use the thing in the context code later. But I can’t prove whether I would have simply come up with this solution using the old version or whether the new version helped.
It’s always been a pretty subtle thing trying to sort out the effects of the sub from the effects of other factors. It’s not like I can say that I feel smarter. My own position with respect for the business has changed drastically in the last few weeks because no-one bothered to buy my product and trying to freelance was an absolute nightmare that I all but gave up on. So I’ve been looking to re-orient it locally, while also trying to factor in the global economic and political climate, which isn’t easy. One could say I’ve started to feel like I’m in the wrong industry, despite the fact that I do do development well.
If I get a chance I’ll reconsider the question in a few weeks.
Thanks, @James That blog post is hilarious and very encouraging for all of us coders who don’t work at Google
@AnswerGroup Our organization has implemented a version of chatgpt that can be used internally within the organization as the existing version was banned due to data privacy.
Now is the time to use IG do you feel that this should be fine to add to my existing stack or would it be too dense ?
Custom (Primal + Stark OG + WB)
Limitless
I guess I could drop Limitless and use IG instead. If anyone else who has used both limitless and IG feel free to comment.
