Main Disc. Thread - HERO Origins: Sage and a Blade (Now Available! Q Core for Customs Available!)

If you develop a part that is a weakness you get it to average, if you develop a part that is well developed you probably make it a unique strength.

If a weakness is holding you back, you can try to get help or delegate, if that is not possible you might need to develop it.

I would normally agree with you, but here’s the thing:

How much development does one need in a specific area until it becomes a hindrance?

I’ve been wanting to focus on my career for quite some time now, and even with all the success I’ve achieved, I’m still barely there, because I always end up trying to develop more and more of my sexual prowess and attractiveness.
It even reached a point where I was getting a new chick every time I did a loop of one of my older customs, which was also basically just focused on sexual prowess, and I keep going through it again and again :joy:

And it’s not just this btw, another constant area of development for me has been my popularity, and it reached a point where I started getting way too much attention, I mean just take the month of August for example, I ā€œdisappearedā€ from society for a month and it lead to people worrying way too much about me, and I’m not even talking about people who know me in person, but people only knew me online, and honestly writing all this now is also making me realize that I’ve drifted so far away from my original goal when I joined subclub :upside_down_face:

If this is just from the Origin sub, I wonder how Hero Complete is gonna be like :eyes:

I understand that. But ask yourself ā€œdo I want to develop it for short term pleasure or for long term successā€. And if you really ask yourself the question and dig deep, also going after a ā€œcareerā€ (which is 95% just a job and you are a number in a company) is a fix for a run after a status that you think fills a hole inside you that should be fixed from the inside.

Surely you are an experienced user and you don’t ā€œneedā€ advice or another opinion, but sometimes it helps to take a new perspective.

I really do appreciate you taking the time to give me a different perspective :pray:t3:

I was reading your post out loud while on the phone with my girl and she agrees with me thinking deeper about this part (in regards to my current feelings towards Khan and WB):

My surface level answer would be: I love the short term pleasure I get from it.

My deeper answer is: I don’t find the development I got from running those to need any more extra development and/or focus, as I’m at a point in my life where I have not just reached the peak of my self-development (in terms of sexuality and everything related to that specific area), but also it’s just a crutch that I rely on out of fear.
The fear that I’m referring to here, which might surprise some people, is the fear of not being as good in other areas of my life, because of which I end up focusing on the thing that I’m already leagues above others at, and keep myself content with that instead, which is also why whenever I dip my feet in any other sub that isn’t related to sexual prowess, and even at times when I just get thoughts about my life and myself (even without any subs), I end up feeling like I’m just wasting my resources on something that is already at its peak (plus it’s not even a goal for me, I just do it for the pleasure if I’m being honest).

Yes, I agree, and I would have 100% said that I feel like it implies to my job too, but that would have been last year, cause that job was good, but it wasn’t really what I wanted deep down, which is how I ended up manifesting my dream job (where I work currently), hence why I don’t agree with that statement if we’re strictly talking about my specific job.

The reason I say that is because I work in the sports industry, and as a fitness enthusiast, nothing makes me happier than the work I do, for example: currently I’m working on the preparation for an event that will be held on the 1st of October, for the World Walking Day, and this year, we’re targeting young kids from elementary schools to join us, and as an organizer, I’ve been in contact with the biggest organizations around my country (including the biggest health clinic chain) to make sure that every kid joining us that day gets filled with the passion to make healthier lifestyle choices.

That’s just one of the examples as to why I love my work, and want to focus on my career more, cause at the end of the day, the purpose I believe in, is that my life gives me opportunities to inspire people, as well as spread moments of joy, to uplift them.

So is that not a good area to focus on ?

Some jobs we go after for a satisfaction of status, some we go after because of money (we’ll probably as men that is often the main motivation) but what you say is something very nice (and if I am allowed to put it also a bit critically but playful ā€œsounds a bit selfishā€).

And I mean that not personal but more in a broader term, can you/we do a job that is good for society or for others without needing positive feedback? In my current mindset I would say yes but I would bleed energy into it because I don’t get positive feedback/energy back. But since we are on HERO we should be able to do such work also without feedback?
To help a person without waiting for a thank you or a smile but just because we know it is the right thing.

Edit: sorry if we are drifting too far away from topic/reviews

@SaintSovereign

I was looking at Hero: Origins, and contemplating this update of Survival Instinct X.

Hero: Origins has Survival Instinct X

How does the SI upgrade differ from Hero: Origins?

Would listening to both be redundant?

We’ll give more details on the upgrade soon, since it’ll be coming soon, but listening to both would most definitely be redundant.

Quick update : Since my original loop of Hero : Origin, I’m much more focused during my workout, it’s not the same as spartan, it’s more of a ā€œfeeling the muscle, executing the movement and being attentive to my bodyā€ rather than pushing to the max because I’m pumped.

Meditation goes a lot smoother to, the focus comes easier.

Calm focus?

Also have you noticed any thoughts entering your head that are thoughts you usually do not think? (That is, do you think your thinking patterns are changing?)

I’ve needed to start an exercise regime to take control of my diet and physical health. Turning 52 and being 80lbs overweight its time to truly change. Hero Origins has put something into me that has taken my resistance away from doing this in my life.

My question is what other title would be the best to pair with HO to help create more discipline and drive to get into shape? I am thinking Spartan Apex Warrior, but am open to other suggestions.

Absolutely love Hero Origins. I’ve only ran it twice (5 minutes each) and it just makes me feel incredible. Like I can do anything without fear.

I would go with Emperor Fitness since it’s also about creating a lot of habits (ex. eating habits) related to achieving your desired goals.

I’m already doing Khan Black. I don’t really want to do two multi-stages at once.

That looks like an excellent combination.

H:O and Spartan.

My only recommendation would be to buy a pair of sneakers and maybe some extra-reinforced socks to protect your toes from all the ass you’ll be kicking.

I’m wanting to upgrade my SI/Spartan custom to the new Spartan Core. Maybe I just wait until the new Survival Instinct and upgrade the custom with both of the new cores? How long?

Spartan Apex Warrior getting an upgrade?

It just got updated. I got my custom like a few weeks before the updated title and core came out.

Ah I misunderstood. Thanks.

Yo, self-amusent in khan? This is probably what I’m going to run after my current stack.

Not to take away from your journey, but I need more status/dominance and DGAF attitude in my journey. Thanks for clarifying.

Also interesting quote. I believe insecurity plays a role in that. It’s like when I went through my first big physical transformation. I’m 6’2 and went from 120kg to 73. I had abs for the first time, yet when I looked in the mirror I felt I was still fat. People literally thought I had gotten a crazy disease or something with how skinny I was.

Also explains bodybuilders who keep on doing crazier and crazier things until they die because in their head they are that tiny weak man.

Or people who get addicted to plastic surgery

Just my thoughts high on DR:LD. :joy:
