Yeah I forgot about that one, being relaxed is kind of OP. Thanks for adding that one to the list of suggestions
Yeah, but… don’t you think that Khan has more than enough of just that? It might be a 4-stager, but it also slowly builds up, as the title and its scope are huge. It’s named Khan for a reason, and I admire your courage and will to go through with it.
But in your opinion… wouldn’t it be better as RV suggested to add something like Sanguine to help smooth out the ride and keep you relaxed and focused, rather than adding a mini Khan(GLM?) Not saying that GLM is a Khan, but the objectives are in the same direction.
If you are at a restaurant and order a main course and receive a big portion of turkey(Kahn,) would you then think it’s a good idea to as you’re eating this big turkey, to order in a dish of lamb chops(GLM?) Wouldn’t that just make you overeat if you are even able to eat it all? And wouldn’t you just get a bloated stomach and feel a bit sick afterwards(overwhelming recon?)
Khan is more than enough for that drive, ambition, masculinity, and much more that you seek. It’s the Rolls-Royce for just that, that’s why it’s a four-stager… Is it the only tool in here for that? No! But it sure stands tall on its own.

IMO, a good approach would be to really commit to Khan(which you already are,) but work on developing more and more awareness and skill in tracking your progress. What I mean more specifically, is learn to go more by feel… Don’t be so strict with “I only play full loops or 30 seconds!” Use the guidelines and start off small, then build the exposure over time.
But also, if it’s a playing day and you feel full… just wait another day and re-assess… develop the skill to intuitively sense your own patterns of when to play and when not to play. Listen to the mind first, but don’t trust it’s first impulse as it might just be recon trying to push you to overload by exposing you to more = getting stuck.
But hear the mind out, and then turn to the inner state and your emotions… are you feeling full or even overwhelmed? Ok, if so, then take it more slow and cut back on the exposure. Track this skill and your progress by having a short handwritten journal where you write about this, because then you can go back and clearly see and learn your own patterns.
Written stuff is great when you are in the rut and feeling overwhelmed… it helps you see and recognize that you’re actually in it…
We are all different, that’s why we need to trust ourselves and find out what works for ourselves. I see many on the forum writing this works and this doesn’t work… But that’s highly personal… I look at it with an open mind, but I stick to what I’ve found works best for me personally. As an example, it’s super rare that I play a full loop of anything, It’s just not worth the amount of overwhelm I get.
For some that might work, but the recon and fog I get are very physical with bad jaw tension, and just this haze and foggy mind state… to me that’s more than likely going to stop me from being proactive and take action towards what I want… So I deem it not worth it. I want to live my life as well and not just be in a state of agony all the time.
It sounds cheesy, but you want to find a balance. Look at nature, everything out of balance gets weeded out to restore equilibrium.
Just like the story of old old tree that was hundreds of years old with big girthy roots going into the ground. During a hurricane that was so powerful it literally lifted it up and it smashed it in to the ground. → End of big tree.
Then you have the grass next to it. So easily uprooted that a child could pick it up. But the powerful storm was no match for the grass, which just folded as the gushy winds thundered through. And in the process it got a good cleansing. When the rays of the suns finally peeked the clouds, the grass lifted up again as if nothing happened.
Rigid vs Flexible
Found this old story I wrote years back, it’s not the full metaphor but I believe I got the gist of it. You can be a big tree, but when the storm comes you are no match for it… the tiny grass though is way less imposing and grandeur in appearance… but it simply yields to the storm and survives.
Now… I would look at this internally. Look at your inner world, being a big tree, mighty and powerful = your dedication to Khan, to become something great that you feel proud of. But sometimes a storm comes(overwhelm and recon.) Will the tree continue to be that stubborn and eventually topple over, or will it internally learn that sometimes it’s better to shapeshift(@skadoosh gonna like this … joking here out of topic) into… being like the grass and learn to yield until the storm has passed?

Being a big mighty tree in a storm = Being rigid and stubborn = Adding more exposure, falling in to old bad habits, feeling down and anxious, having to start over again.
Being the tiny grass in a storm = Being flexible by being kind and loving towards to yourself = Practicing self-care and growing your awareness, and most of all being using that flexibility to lower exposure when needed and then re-assess the situation.

Little metaphors like this are awesome Find some that you resonate with and write it somewhere that you see all the time. So next time you are in a rut, read it out loud, laugh at it, and think “do I want to be this big tree right now and get my ass whooped?” Or do is it necessary to turn to my grassy awareness and be more flexible here?
Have fun with it, life is a game. Talk as if you are this stubborn old tree to yourself in the mirror… “no, I won’t change… I’m this big old chunky tree and I won’t change!” Then see how stupid it all looks and laugh at it…
Now you have switched into awareness, and from here you can change and adjust… Just a funny example… but sometimes in hardship… do something completely random and uncharacteristic and you snap out of the rigidness.
Just had to add this in as it just came to me…
When you clear out a forest or trees standing tightly together, the ones standing further in have fewer roots because they were shielded from the wind by the trees on the outskirts. I’ve seen this as I worked in construction… suddenly, loud bangs could be heard from trees falling when it was windy.
So, in a way, being one of those inner trees is like being in a society or group. The collective protects you in exchange for staying in line and sticking together.
But if one starts to wake up and work on themselves, they are usually seen as outcasts and begin to drift away from the protection of the other trees. Now, they have to grow stronger roots, which are internal and not external. This process can be scary and really challenging, but it definitely makes you feel alive and like you’re progressing.
When you finally emerge as a strong, independent tree, your view is magnificent because there are no other trees blocking it (elevated awareness). Also, your roots can grow bigger and bigger since there are no trees right next to you fighting for space and resources. Now, you get access to all the best life has to offer.
Now, all the other trees look up to you and wonder how you can be so tall and strong on your own. It was not an easy ride, but it was all worth it in the end. You’ve finally grown up and realized your own potential.
As for what Khan thinks of all of this…
