I wrote a long ass post tge other day and it got removed due to poor internet connection. I talked about a concept named foundation and by that I mean the foundation module.
But ypu don’t need to make a custom for that. Ascension for sure has at least parts of foundation module.
You should not get fazed by others’ advices always. That is what called a sense of the self.
And beleive me, just run one archetype.
Ascended mogul, then Khan. No emperor I guess cuz that’s not social.
I would also argue that because you prefer not to socialize much, you can run emperor or even EB!
I urge you to also contemplate on why you wanna be unsocial and apathetic and why you are kind of obsessed with it(sorry for the bold language).
So two main points:

Get that alpha foundation and confidence so that you do not easily change your route/path/stack… look recon can also be the culprit, be careful on exposure.

Run ONE archetype, preferrebly masculine and it should be either Alpha(ascension, Khan…) or sigma(emperor, EB) I am running Khan solo now and ran 6 other masculine cores with it and I know what I am talkimg about.

Just so you’re not feeling crazy on Genesis. It’s existentialism overdrive for me. I feel you man.
I’ve been in survival mode most of my life. Not really living. That’s a painful realization to come to, but it’s necessary in order to break the prison of it.
You live a certain way for so long you start developing ways of navigating within that prison. But it’s still a prison. You have to get out fully in order to understand what else life holds. By no means is it easy, but it sounds like you’re already doing the digging.

That’s a lot of it for me as well. I have never felt like I could let go , relax and have fun. I grew up being blamed for almost everything my younger siblings did wrong. It’s made me almost paranoid of upsetting someone or getting into trouble. Mr buzz kill over here

Ok so let’s get one thing straight Emperor is not Anti Social at all. But i do agree you should stick with one “Archtype” sub till you atleast find some direction and are on your way to achieving your goals
I would say go with either Ascension or Stark while sticking with Genesis and UP
Stark is a beast sub and kind of fits in with what you want atleast coding wise plus could help you be more social.
And Ascension has that masculine drive but it also is like emperor is a way where it will show you that you are being treated bad and you’ll demand respect in a lot of aspects
They both are positives in my book
I have never ran Ascension by itself but @Michel has and could probably help in that aspect
The reason why I usually run both Emperor and Stark in separate customs is because they both fit my personality and who I am as a person. I like to lone wolf it up a lot but I am a social butterfly too among other things.

So at first glance it seems like something you can sort of let go into, but you really can’t. That was my mistake over the years too. Thinking if I just relaxed enough or somehow just did this one thing I could chill out and be fine. But it’s a skill and learned behavior believe it or not. You have to practice making yourself feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed it’s unfortunately not going to spontaneously happen. You were deprived of that experience when younger most likely.
Something I read online that really resonated with me. When you’re caught in that survival feeling, stressed, unable to let go and feel safe that’s essentially developmental arrest. Even though you’re an adult, those emotions you experience are being processed at a level of a child that never learned what to do with them. So you have to go easy with yourself and understand there was a very innate vital skill missing from your life that you have to teach your inner child self now.
The cognitive vs emotional gap is really big in some people. Me included. There can be a tendency to try to think your way out of things vs working with emotions directly.

I’m leaning towards Emperor or Emperor Black. I deal with a lot of disrespect… One of my biggest frustrations is people that insist on wasting my time

Do what you gotta do man
But make an oath to yourself that you will stick with it for a few months
And focus in on making goals for yourself so you have something you want to shoot for. Everyone needs that “THING” that makes them wanna wake up in the morning and kick ass, that thing that will make it all worth it.

@James From my experience with EB and Emperor, I would prefer EB. Much more power and strength that is released quickly. Also for keeping people at a distance.
Monk mode for your programming project.
The only drawback is the recommended 3 months listening time. However, I think you can listen to EB for much longer, or listen to it again after a short break.
Emperor is a very wide sub that does not immediately have this penetrating effect.
At least that’s how I experienced it.

I just made an oath post yesterday for myself on my journal for my next stack. I also give full permission to others to come kick my butt if I pull the switching stacks game again.
Stick to it long term! Don’t second guess. Don’t switch things around & don’t come here asking about other sub ideas.
Focus focus focus. 
Maybe I need to get some guidance around customs though.

This is honestly what separates people on the 1% from everyone else. The 1% has goals, they have routines, they have ambition and drive to make things happen. The biggest thing that separates the 1% from everyone else is discipline.
