My point exactly. I can tell by your demeanor that a lot of the “floor cleaning” occurred before you ran Genesis, so when the scripting to help you “find yourself” kicked in, there was much much less to do. You got your insights, then your strong self of sense was kinda like… “well, I guess that’s it. Fun chat, Genny.”
Or in the words of one Mr. Hov:
I got a million ways to get it
Choose one
Ay, bring it back, bring it back
Now double your money and make a STK
Absolutely love that song, played it every day back when I was 13 hahaha.
But yes, you’re absolutely right. My floor cleaning began with Emperor Black’s release, which led to Regeneration, and then running the first 2 stages of Dragon Reborn until February.
Genesis was really just a quick passthrough with the Swiffer, but a very needed one. And it led me to cultivating what I feel is the greatest sub I’ve ever ran, my custom Eudaimonia.
So Genesis is genuinely an incredible sub, as long as you know how to use it.
I know this post was not directed specifically towards me even though you replied to my message.
The point was never to blame a title but to know yourself and know what type of subs you align with. e.g cognitive enhancement subs always gave me recon and there is no point for me to run those. So are most healing titles. And so might Genesis be not the best title for me to use, as I elaborated a few posts earlier:
and so might that type of strategy, which reminds me of a „brute forcing“ mentality, not be the best approach for everybody.
That’s what I’m saying – Genesis is not “brute force.” It’s a light and broad script. It just must’ve touched on something deep that you may not want to face, because a user at your level shouldn’t have a really negative response to it. But, based on your posts, I can see what it was touching on and it’s a uniquely Friday issue.
So, what about the other modules in that custom? I would expect that you have continued to feel the effects from them, no?
Also, when you read the specific description of the effects of Genesis (i.e., Path and Purpose, general Aura development, Courage, Wealth, etc.) what do you think of how it is performing?
In other words, Genesis does not really seem to be about constant, radical transformation; it seems to be about gentle and constant alignment with one’s Purpose and the capacity to remain actively focused on that purpose.
So, how do you feel you’re doing specifically with regard to that?
There’s a tendency for our discussions on the forum to over-emphasize analysis of the subliminal, hypothesizing about the script content, listening schedules, stack content, etc.; and to really under-emphasize assessment of individual characteristics and the situation (strengths, needs, barriers, etc.,) that the user brings to the table. People just don’t seem to think about that enough.
Your experience is inspiring me to reflect on use-cases in which an extended play of Genesis would be indicated or would be beneficial.
Three Four use-cases come to mind immediately in which a person might benefit from playing Genesis long-term.
Low Courage/ Risk-aversion
The presence of internal/external barriers to action
Socially unconventional Path or Purpose
Low Flow-factor
Risk-Aversiveness
A person may, for whatever combination of reasons (for example, past trauma, perceived or actual limitation or disability, the genuine presence of significant external threats, and so on), find themself experiencing a persistent, elevated aversion to taking necessary risks. The Courage scripting in Genesis could be very helpful in that situation. Depending on how entrenched those factors are, the person might find it useful to play Genesis in the long-term.
Internal/External Barriers to Taking Action
This situation is similar to the previous one. It’s not so much about facing risks and fears. There may also be other factors that make it harder for the person to take action. The optimal course of action may be very, very different from one’s established habits or routines. There may be a great deal of inertia to be overcome. Internally, there may be beliefs and preconceptions that keep rearing their heads and causing the person to forget that the goal is possible. Genesis will help with this. And again, if those habits and preconceptions are very entrenched, a longer-term play of Genesis could really help the person to take better actions and to maintain them until new patterns of perceiving and behavior have been established.
Unconventional Path or Purpose
A given person may have a life path or purpose that is very unique or that is at odds with the prevailing customs of the society around them. The influence of social norms can be like a strong wind that repeatedly blows one off course before one even realizes what has happened. In this case, Genesis would serve as an internal navigation system, helping one to stay on course, and to continually course-correct in the face of societal or relational influences that threaten to obscure the sense of purpose or that even might cause one to forget one’s purpose. That sense of doubt in the face of implicit and explicit pressure to conform. Genesis would help with that. If a person is following a very unique or unconventional path, Genesis might be an indispensable resource. That re-orientation and that realignment could be very necessary. A user in this situation might want and need to return to that orienting resource again and again. Genesis would be like a captain’s astrolabe that continually helps them to find their True North.
Low Flow-Factor
Lower flow-factor is often related to the defenses that a person has built up over their lifetime. To protect us from manipulation and social coercion, from disappointment, from judgment. Often the person has very good reasons for having developed those defenses; but that makes the defenses no less constrictive and imprisoning.
As Sting wrote:
This prison has now become your home A sentence you seem prepared to pay It took a day to build the city We walked through its streets in the afternoon As I returned across the lands I’d known I recognized the fields where I’d once played Had to stop in my tracks for fear Of walking on the mines I’d laid
I think that a person with heavy defenses who is unable to receive new information or to respond quickly or strongly to new information might also be a good use case for Genesis. Of course, such a person might also respond well to Healing titles such as Dragon Reborn. But I think what might make Genesis different is that it is gentle and has the Free Will scripting turned up to 10. Thus, it doesn’t force you to change; but it does powerfully help you to change yourself if you are willing to do so.
I think it would make it easier for a person who wishes to do so to begin taking more powerful strides in their chosen direction. And in the case of a person with very strong defenses, a long term play of Genesis might be just what is needed to bring about a smoother and easier internal flow and flexibility.
Okay, those are four use cases that I’ve thought of so far.
Of the ones I’ve used previously, yes. Index Gate is one of my cores however, and I did not perceive any results from it yet so far. I haven’t mentioned that because I do not rush to judgement when it comes to new elements introduced to my stack, I have faith that once I resume consistently running it, it will execute the way I want it to.
Path and Purpose is 100% where Genesis excels at, no other sub comes close. With regards to the other aspects, it’s hard to say because of all of the other subs that I run in my stack. The overlap in goals is significant because of how broad Genesis is, so I can really only associate things like aura development, courage, wealth, etc. with the subs that I feel most impact these aspects. When I get the vast majority of wealth results from Mogul and then I introduce Genesis to my stack and nothing changes on that front, how can I attribute the continued results to Genesis and not Mogul? This example also applies with the other subs in my stack, like KBBC, S&S, etc.
In terms of finding one’s purpose however, Genesis pointed me exactly where I needed to go and it gave me a plan to execute, through mental and psychological shifts as well as external manifestations. As I had said earlier, this is easily where Genesis excels in more than any other.
But…I recognized that I haven’t had many moments like this in a very, very long time.
I found myself having a sense of enjoying life.
As for the details, they are not so crucial, but here they are.
After having a dinner conversation with my family member (I’m currently visiting family), they went upstairs to take care of some other matter. I said I would stay downstairs and do the dishes. First I grabbed a Bluetooth speaker, and then, as I was washing, I listened to a book that I’d bought 2 entire years ago. Process-Oriented Hypnosis by Michael Yapko. I’m going to be putting together a presentation/guided experience related to a subject covered in that book, so I thought I’d take the chance to listen to it.
The narrator (not Yapko himself) talked through Yapko’s words and concepts, and I found myself appreciating what I was hearing, but, more importantly, taking it in in a very comfortable way. I found that my mind was in a settled, comfortable, yet stimulated, place.
And gradually, the awareness dawned on me: I feel good right now. The moment itself felt good; but also, my expectation of the possibilities of the future also felt quite good.
I am having an extremely beneficial journey with Genesis.
For my particular set of characteristics, this program seems to be extremely well-suited. I fit the stereotype of the HSP (Highly Sensitive Person). Sensitivity does not necessarily mean that you’re kind, compassionate, well-meaning, or refined. It’s referring to the style and degree of nuance of your neural processing. It’s just processing-sensitivity. Essentially, it means that you become overwhelmed at a lower than average degree of stimulus intensity. At the same time, within your appropriate level of stimulation, you also tend to process stimuli to a higher degree of nuance.
There’s nothing superior or inferior about being an HSP. Because the level of processing-sensitivity differs from the population average, however, it can take some time for the individual to learn how to manage it well. Often, you have to work this out on your own. (Think of a young Daredevil trying to get a handle on his highly sensitive hearing. Through determination and sacrifice, he eventually figures out how to harness this tendency and even makes it a strength. Even then, however, it always remains as a potential vulnerability.)
Long story short, I’ve been working with this for years. Working out where and how I should strive to change or train myself. I’ve survived for sure. But thriving? Still in progress.
But I could feel tonight that more steps of progress are being made. It’s happening under my awareness.
I think I want this to be in my stack rotation with Wanted Black. I have 10 days left and a washout. I want some childlike adventure and enthusiasm in my life.
Took a Trans-Atlantic flight yesterday. Was pretty zonked (i.e., tired as hell) by 11:30 pm, but that was when I finally had time to do my meditation. Did it and was done by 12:30 am. Went to hang out with my daughter for a while, and then made my way to bed. Yesterday, was a subliminal day, so I had meditated with my sub stack. (Which includes Genesis—one of my favorites.)
This morning I woke up after about 4 to 5 hours of sleep. Did the necessaries in the Chamber of Necessaries, and then went back to bed to sleep some more.
Had a strange and rather effed-up dream.
Maybe that was related to my tiredness and my pre-bed meditation session.
I ran my first loop of Genesis and I’ve felt super jumpy and anxious. This woman at grocery store knocked something off a display with her trolley and made a scream noise and I deadset nearly jumped through the roof. Then last night a neighbour came home late and slammed their car door and it woke me up in a similar way and I had a terrible sleep afterwards and still feel jittery today.
I’m pretty sure it’s from the sub because I’m not usually like this but I’m also not too concerned. It kind of feels like if I push through to the other side I’ll be in a better place. Anyone experienced anything like that from genesis or other subs? I thought it sounded like the perfect sub and expected smoothness but it must have touched on something raw.
Take 2-3 non-listening days to process, then listen to a 3 minute loop the next time you listen.
Listen to 3 minute loops once every 2-3 days, until you’re confident that the recon isn’t too intense and you can increase it.
Having recon like that is fantastic because it means you’re sensitive to results and will improve quickly!
In which case you don’t need to expose to nearly as much listening time, because you’ll get the same results with less, and the rest is just overkill.
More exposure & more recon do NOT equal more results - don’t make the mistake of thinking that in order for subs to effective they have to be a rollercoaster. They should, in my opinion, feel like a comfortable but effortful stretch. A pushing of yourself 10% past your current capacity. Almost like when you go to the gym and you have an amazing workout, and the next day you’re sore enough that you can definitely feel it, but it’s not like you’re unable to lift your arm or sit down on the toilet properly.
I took a brisk 60 minute walk which made a big difference. It took away about 85% of the jitters. I think a meditation session could be helpful too.
Funny it’s recon though, I’ve done subs before but not experienced anything like that. I’m excited to see some results because I’ve always had something inside that holds me back in life and hopefully this helps smash through some barriers.
