Remember some guy on reddit saying he could manifest anything and was manifesting cures to diseases and manifested the covid vaccine lol,and people were just eating it up asking him how, thats what turned me off from it

I heard that and I do my best to not use that phrasing if I can. And if I forget myself, I just continue and not make a big deal out of it.
Here’s the problem is you’re taking a few examples where it’s scam like and placing it at a position or on a level where it relates to all
Not all people are like that and there are certainly plenty of ways you can manifest your dream life
How many times do you see or hear people say something like oh f this or f that then say oh what else can go wrong today …. Then 80-90% of the time something goes wrong … manifestation is more about energy than anything else
Putting negative energy out there will attract negative energy back to you …. Now does that mean even the most positive person on this planet can manifest nothing but good days … no but he can manage good days more then a non positive person because the energy he gives off comes back to him ….
Things you can do to help manifestation work better is using tools like goals, subliminals, affirmations to an extent, visualization, and the biggest thing is taking action on your goals

The concept of manifesting/LOA isn’t a new age thing (only the slang/term is but the idea is not). The idea is borrowed from hermeticism which predates both Christianity and Islam by several centuries. Hermetic doctrine in a nutshell states that the universe is all mind.
The issue with new age is, a lot of people learn about it and add their own personal ideas and concepts. Just for shits and giggles: I live in Los Angeles which has a big new age spiritual community, last year I was eating at a fancy pizzaria restaurant outdoors and watched this dude come up to this table next to me and pick up on these 2 girls(they were hot btw). The convo turned spiritual in about 15 seconds and this dude starting using all the buzzterms: VIBRATION, SYNCHORNICITES, HEALING JOURNEY, SELF LOVE, ANGEL NUMBERS, MANIFESTING etc etc. The thing was, he wasn’t making any sense, he was just mashing these buzzwords together in sentences, but the girls were eating it up and couldn’t get enough (and for the record, this dude was avg looking, not male model or anything).
So I kinda get why people get turned off at all things new age(unless you’re a woman in West Hollywood, then you get turned on 
).

Nero Knowledge gives a fairly simple yet comprehensive info on the matter. Personally, i think the approach he teaches works effectivly!
I say that having learned from many sources like Joe Dispenza, Ekhart Tolle and the Kybalion and i believe Nero Knowledge ties the whole web neatly

Yes I know this but LOA dominates the market, and I don’t think it’s borrowed but distorted, damaged.
I’ve read some kybalion, hermetica too but I couldn’t find practical things to apply maybe I should read again later

Or find a system you’re drawn to. If these systems don’t seem to spark anything in you, don’t make yourself adopt them.
For me reading the kybalion made a lot of things make sense(and yes I know a lot of hermeticists don’t coinsider kybalion a real hermetic work).
But if its not your flavor, find something that is.

People are overcomplicating this idea, especially since various “spiritual leaders” will intentionally make these concepts more difficult to understand because they need to remain as the “guru” in order to keep grifting more time and money from you.
You can look at nature itself – physics, for example – and discern the nature of this “law of attraction,” which is really more about resonance and synchronicity than imagining things and then it happens. Here is the metaphysical “law of attraction” expressed within practical physics:
In this experiment, which has been reproduced and studied by science multiple times: Five metronomes are set to 176 bpm and placed on a Foam Core board. When empty cans are placed underneath, the board is free to move from side to side and the metronomes are able to influence each other into synchronization. When the cans are removed the metronomes are no longer physically coupled and some of them begin to fall out of step.
Think about this, and a basic idea of how the “law of attraction” actually works should become clear. As you change yourself, you “resonate” (for lack of a better word) differently and thus those who “resonate” with you will begin to synchronize with you, with the “foam core” in this situation being society itself, as well as the subtle energetic interactions that occur between all people. This wisdom is not new, and has been expressed in many simple ways, such as “birds of a feather fly together.” Or, the notion of “crabs in a barrel pulling those down who try to escape.”
