You had the exact same experience on EB as I did then. EB drove me to make the sale as long as I knew how I sold wouldn’t come back to bite me in the ass. It made me more selfish, which made me more aggressive when trying to close sales, and molding my words and personality in whatever ways I needed to, in order to increase my chances of winning “the game”…which was convincing the customer to take money from their pockets and put it into my own.
I also noticed that I was far more confident and cunning with overcoming objections without much mental effort. But I was also more blunt and if whatever I offered didn’t suit their needs, then I’d just let them know that continuing with me any further was just going to be a waste of time and they’d end up disappointed. They greatly appreciated that honesty every time.
