Personally, no, I didn’t notice.
But whilst thinking about your question, I noticed that when I am unproductive, I don’t chastise myself for being unproductive as much, or sometimes not at all. Which in turn makes being productive more enjoyable because I don’t feel like I am forcing myself to do something. Also I am possibly more productive because I’m not wasting time beating myself up.
I hope this makes sense. I was thinking out loud writing this.
Thanks. That’s a helpful sharing.
No problem, glad I could help.
Is it better to complete Dragon Reborn before running Alchemist?
I’m running them together, and I have a partly-formed theory about it. But I’ll save that and first see what people with more actual experience with Dragon Reborn have to say.
One rule for me on Dragon Reborn seems to be:
Only post about 10% of the thoughts that come into your mind
…and then re-read and delete most of those too.
Glad I’m not the only one
I’m feeling this too.
Did you or others find it shifting when you moved to Stage 2?
Yeah but definitely more focused. For me at least
I have found it incredibly difficult to do shit I definitely don’t want to do.
That people pleasing sense of obligation is going away
Oops. Didn’t reply. No, I’m still following the same schedule. I guess the Dragon will let me know if it’s ever time to increase frequency or loops.
@SaintSovereign i wonder. I’m dealing with some tough recon from Khan right now. Would it be better to run DR U or rebirth to help with it?
Personally I would wait the recon out, and then re-adjust the listening schedule, meaning no more subliminal input before the effect of the recon wears off.
Adding something to ease it when you are already full of scripting to be integrated in my experience just prolongs the process.
Or you could play an Ultima like The Executive to get the action taking going. @Ice said something recently that I like, to listen to it and baby step it, start with small tasks to get the momentum going, and the rest will just follow.
Darn. While I know waiting it out may be good it feels like I’m not taking enough action to solve the challenge.
If you’re in a lot of recon try doing something physically demanding. That usually works for me to ease it off. Personally I’m trying the Executive tomorrow, and I have lined up small tasks to do straight away to build that momentum. Not because I’m in a lot of recon atm, but because I’m gearing up to be more productive.
It’s funny with recon, one tries to sit down and have a full internal dialogue on how to take more action, and to mitigate it, instead of just start doing something right away Try the 3 minutes rule… Start cleaning or something similar telling yourself that if you’re not feeling it after 3 minutes you can quit.
Wow this is what I have been doing and it hasn’t worked!
Yes and you’re looking for magical pills, I know that feeling all to well. It’s like you’re waiting for an appointment with yourself, and taking your sweet time to check for an available date
The longer I sit around and not listen to anything, the more recon is increasing.
Sorry you’re having some tough reconciliation.
Sanguine seems to work well for people. Rest days. More sleep.
I’ve also found saunas helpful.
Another wise idea.
I’m sorry I didn’t answer sooner, as I see this was 2 days ago. How are you now?
It’s tough, to put it succinctly. More details regarding the challenges in my journal. Hit a low a few days ago, now bouncing up. Work and the other weekday things are keeping me a little distracted. But when those are gone, I feel it the most.
